suicide pacts we taking whats left
taking my life so i could make it in death
knife straight to the neck barrel straight to the head
temple faded with lead get me a noose lemme hang myself
how bout i jump off the roof impact make my skin crack
and with that my life i end that or so i thought ..
next thing i felt was electricity
flowing threw my hopeless corpse ringing ears
my senses dissolved yet sight wasn't lost
my thoughts became louder
life passed by at the rate of 10,000 miles per hour
i could here myself but no one responded
hooded beings stood over my body lifted me to infinity
i lossed it same planet different objects
my identity became unconscious
now im fading into universal chaos
so begins the second step if you wanna play god



your spirits now a breeze
monsters catch it with a spiral spinning machine
immortality has never been a cynical dream
suicide is the first step to an invisible means
jumped off a bridge and couldn't flow
so i died...drowned
two middle fingers as i sank down
only cool people die wild foul suicide smiles
depression in a waking state change your place
stalk the weary loneliness was the great escape

This is a story of un-luck and how being trapped can be freeing
In this world man dreams of whipping wind with his wings
In a place where his feelings aren’t shamed for being speech
Where emotion’s a sleeve that he's not expected to keep
He’s not over expressive or flamboyant in thought
But feelings aren’t bottle-necked in his throat as he coughs
This is a happy realm, come; let us explore for a sec.
Cause inner self has been hidden deep in its depths
Where the further you get… the closer to death
Ironically, bringing you closer to self… Such strange intellect
The chasm of soul is a labyrinth untold
Callous and cold, love and hate both balanced in core
We’ve traveled the surface but the truth is below
So he searches his soul for a grip on control
He finds his way through the chambers, though endless they seem
But suddenly, a simple mirror that gleams
He approaches it cautious, unsure of it’s meaning
Afraid of his soul, but seeing is believing
The darkest truth is still truth, however painfully raw
He traveled his mind and he saw the shame in his flaws
So he broke the mirror to bits cause he was lost in perception
Figured, if he truly were evil, why not carve out his love…

Giving it up to Adonis for the win.
Overall this was a tough decision, I believe both came with their best. Halo had a fantastical story and brought me to a different place. The ride was engaging as well as full of surprises especially how he faced the subject matter. Adonis had an approach where your left with questions as well as brought it to a psychological reflecting moment to the mindset one may suffer in the state of being.

adonis came through with more of a story, his opponent has a lot of verses in the cypher with better dynamics. you cant spend a lot of time dancing around the topic bruh, you gotta hit it head on and spend the most of your syllable count developing the idea..
