Anyone watch the XFL?

Wasn’t bad, actually. Little weird but cool, and not what I was expecting.

uh-oh 02-09-2020 10:03 AM

Average dude in xfl makes $50,000. Legit getting concussed on live tv to make less money than an accountant

For real, there were a lot of hard hits out there, I’m interested to see how these guys hold up for 10 games plus playoffs

Ouch 02-09-2020 10:28 PM

yeah i wached the xfl for like 10 minutes tonight... and I think its cool but it seems weird like.. I don't remember who the 2 teams were

but hell no fuck that, I know if you couldn't make the nfl.... younger guys and stuff could show their talent.. I hate tom brady but GOAT tom brady was a second string player for michigan and got drafted way late

Gorapallo was a back up to brady, I never herad of him no clue what round he got drafted in...

Mahommes was like 5th or 6th pick I dunno, but he went to texas tech and who the fuck knew him from then? I certainly didn't...

I guess my point is xfl seems cool, majority is all old ass wanna be nfl players getting some money.. but it could produce an underlooked player.

Way to make their way back up or to the NFL.

Not to mention potential raises depending on fan base. Also endorsements.

Not long before Vince scripts the game.

Under paid athlete looking for that dream goal to make it to the major leagues.

It’s a no brainer, these dudes are trying to make it big. You really think they are content with the average salary of 55k vs the millions they can make?

Come on... No idiot in the right mind besides Finny would be laxed with 55K knowing damn well there is potential for WAYYYYY more.

yeah fuck that, like I said earlier in the thread if you aren't someone who got over looked for whatever reason and actually is good enough to be in the NFL... and you think that playing in the XFL will get you noticed and picked up.. I don't see a point in it

For 50k if I got to be on tv and had a legitimate hope that some nfl team would see my undiscovered talent.. i'd probably do it... but if I knew, I could play for the xfl and get paid 50k-100k whatever it is and i'm way over the hill i'm never making it to the nfl, I might not even fuck with it.

Ouch 02-12-2020 08:09 AM

I'm a major sports fan, and even I don't think i'll watch the XFL, if i'm mad bored and scrolling through channels on TV and its like... ok I can watch a bunch of retards pretend to 'hunt ghosts... hey did you hear my walky talky.. that was a GHOST! lol... or watch the american pickers/pawn stars I like them but that shit is so played out.. or uhh what else is an option I dunno TV is pretty horrible

I might put on XFL if thoe others were the only options just to see whats going on... but i'd only do it once or twice just to see... so yeah me being a big sports fan and thinking of it that way, I don't see the XFL ever lasting very long
