I'm really on the fence about this one. Both verses are dope. same number of quotes and bars I could take or leave. Blue's advantage, for me, is that his personals hit harder so I got him by a hair. I expect some split votes on this one though. Battle of thr round, easy. Good shit

V/Blue

This was cloooooose.

I’m gonna go with Blue, but Dave’s last 4 were dope. This was PeeWee, TLC, Chinook vs. Wedge, Crown Vic, Bags.

Overall, with it being tied on quotables - I took a few other things into account to help decide a winner: wording, effective use of the setup, and swagger/humor. And I think Blue had a better grasp of the intangibles here.

Pardon my lack of a line of a line breakdown fellas, voting from my phone for this one.

V - Blue

I think Dave won this one. Blue may have underestimated him slightly - couple throwaway bars such as Knockout and the closer. Neither hit to me. Crown Vic seemed old as well because I’ve seen it on Hush. Opener was fire. So was Bubbly. Great twist on the concept made it fire. Daves TLC line was a perfect misdirection, fire. Closer was well worded and hit. The only real miss for me was the Peewee line. Blue balls has been done to death but the Finny tie in was nice. I’ve got Dave here.

It’s pretty even on quotables but dave loses points for the chinook bar cuz it just feels like cred wrote it 27 times
Sting and pee wee’s playhouse cancel each other out (I loved both bars)
I tossed out blue’s crown Vic line cause this ain’t a hush battle
That said I think blue had a slightly stronger verse but Dave about to be a problem

blue has lotb. bubbly is the best line. wedge is the second best line

BUT Dave didnt miss. every line Dave had was good or better


Blue tripped on his closer, and the Bags line wasnt good. BUT wasnt bad either...

Daves peewee line is hilarious but its not a tradiitonally sound punch like Blues two openers


but again Dave not missing is standing out to me

From the hip, peewees playhouse was dope I use a similar concept in my blue battle I no showed
And TLC was nice

Dave:

Gun bars/Peewee reboot fire

Blue was more effective and consistent here punch for punch. IMO Dave had the LOTB tho but wasn’t really feeling much else.
