Politics!

lol

So its looking for sure to be trump and clinton now.

Shame on america.

Anyone wanna place early bets?

Also why dont libertarians get any support? If all the bernie people said fuck hilary and the intelligent republicans said fuck trump do you think a 3rd party guy like gary johnson could become sortve relevant?

Certain 05-03-2016 11:28 PM

Why would Bernie Sanders supporters vote for a Libertarian?

~RustyGunZ~ 05-03-2016 11:28 PM

I'll be voting for Gary Johnson

That's ... actually a cogent point.

I'm just a socialist, outright. That's why I was fine with Bernie Sanders (a bad candidate for the cause, all things considered, but at least I agreed with his general views) and why I dislike Libertarians almost as much as outrage Republicans and the Religious Right.

~RustyGunZ~ 05-03-2016 11:46 PM

lol socialist

so you believe in fairytales

NYCSPITZ 05-03-2016 11:55 PM

yo uh-oh is a mad genius.

Millenials young ass, 15-30 years of experience in this timeless universe ass niggas... are feeling FAKE STRONG right now TBH. Bernie sander: WE HAVE TO CHANGE IT ALL CHANGE EVERYTHING ARAGHRGAHRGAH ****HEART ATTACK****

Dude would die in year 2 anyways. He's too old and the oligarchy wouldn't have it. People I worked with in my last job liked him but they were idealistic, naive and most of them were retards and liars. Bernie Sanders presidency only occurs in 1 out of 10,000 parallel universes. It's gonna be Hillary, first we have like 1,000,234,231,324 white preisdents, then a black one, and now a female...my only question is, why you going black, female after all this white shit? Tryna take attention off WHAT, BRO? Like, wars and foreign policy and civil rights and shit like that MY NIGGA. Fuck outta here son u ain't fooling NYC yo. Shit's FISHY is what it is but still would rather be in America than a 3rd world country or even a 2nd world country even moscow if you know russian and you're rich also china. Best thing is to be a global citizen with the ability to travel anywhere you want. And NEVER piss off multi-national corporations and don't travel to excessively reckless, and militant countries.

Sharp 05-04-2016 12:08 AM

I don't think knuck knows anything about most political structures except that he HATE them

But word uhoh. I'm actually hoping this election cycle starts giving rise to more 3rd party candidates, not in a tea party way. Democratic socialist and libertarian could definitely start scoring a few congressional seats in the right districts, problem is the two big parties have gerrymandered so much that there are a ton of near guaranteed red/blue out there now

Gotta believe though

~RustyGunZ~ 05-04-2016 12:21 AM

I know everything about politics Sharp

You must disagree with me if that's your response and I'm upset you're one of those people

It's all a lie anyway

uh-oh legit the realest dude on NC when talm bout politics

Certain 05-04-2016 12:22 AM

There's no reason for both parties to break up simultaneously. If one breaks, the other will have an increased incentive to avoid a break. It appears the Republicans are much closer to a fracture, but even though they have three distinct groups in their party (the outraged, the fiscal conservatives and the religious right), they stick together because falling apart would guarantee liberal rule that none of those groups wants.

Yeah definitely not the people with degrees in the subject

~RustyGunZ~ 05-04-2016 02:20 AM

This is why I don't dive into political conversations

Everyone is an expert to their bias

But all I'm gonna say is if you're speaking on yourself you'd be in the political world if you were that involved and knowledgeable but you sell software on commission so I'll take it that degree is just kinnnddd of relevant or a throw away social studies dealio

boof 05-04-2016 03:06 AM

what the fuck are you guys talking about

hillary can't win the nomination unless she wins 80% of the rest of the votes, which is impossible since cali is split right now

it's going to be a contested convention in philly, that's basically a guarentee at this point, and if bernie wins as big in cali as momentum seems to show, he might go in neck and neck with pledged delegates

hillary is being exposed for a multitude of illegal action more and more each day, and can literally be indicted by the fbi at any turn, the only thing keeping her in this position of seeming to have the nomination locked up is the constant biased, paid for coverage all over television

still, after
-admitted fraud in arizona,
-the debacle in new york,
-registration purges,
-countless reports of disenfranchisement,
-illegal actions at polling places in philadelphia,
-bought out superdelegates,
-false reports of bernie dropping out through mail & phone banking
-hillary funneling campaign money through state parties to exceed the allowed amount of contributions x130
-not to mention the ridiculous facebook group child pornography shit

he's still only down by 200 delegates, and has been closing the gap since early March

plus, cruz just dropped out which helps sanders even more

so....

we're fine

@Knucklehead I worked for a republican governor and a democratic representative for several years, decided I don't want to work in politics for numerous reasons. what someone does for a living has no bearing on other areas of knowledge. people here aren't recording artists or professional MCs, and they know a ton about hip hop. don't make stupid arguments; your first one (everyone is an expert of their own biases) was actually a good one.

i hear you. if i was to put myself in a party it would be libertarian but i don't like putting a name on my views. but they kindve align with libertarianISM

their are "social libertarians" too. basically all the same ideals, minimal government, state rights, free market free will blah blah, but without the whole dissolving of social programs stuff.

his point i don't think was that i was more knowledgable on the ins and outs of the political system, but more im honest and open with my opinion in reference to politics. i'll never claim to be more knowledgable than diode for instance.

but the difference is i engage in the discussions while he'll drop a big word like keynesian that i have to google to even know what he means lol. but thats if he engages at all. most the time it will be him just criticizing some irrelevant point like in this thread.

not to go at diode though. switch his name out with any of the political "snobs" for lack of a better word.

i hate hillary alot. i believe she is a criminal. i believe she should be indicted and thrown in prison.

but all that aside she is trouncing sanders bro. didnt he switch his campaign to basically try and shift democratic thinking since him getting the nomination is basically impossible? like, he ain't gonna be president so at least he can try and use his movement to get the party to be more radical towards his ideaology?

the super delegates ain't shifting to bernie. what does she need? like 100 more delegates basically to get to the 2300 something?

i havent been following the democratic side much so maybe i'm completely wrong. but just naming all that shit doesn't change what has happened lol. whats the child porn thing?
