I made like 102 last year.

But I live in silicon valley, so that's still considered low income.

Should be just above 50k by October. Goes a long way out here. Rent is $300 a month!

uh-oh 07-26-2018 06:06 AM

im on pace to hit 52ish

which is ridiculous money to me.

but i don't get a salary, i get paid by the "body hour". so i work at least 40 hours a week, but i don't get paid for the hours im there if that makes sense. like say a car comes in with a dent on the hood to be fixed. the estimate can be written for 3 body hours, meaning the labor involved that the customer is paying for is 3 hours. it really only takes 1 hour to do, but i get paid for 3. so i turn anywhere from 60-100 hours a week, while working anything from 40-50 actual hours.
