Hes a black with white on his neck and toes domestic short haired. Brought him in for his wellness check today. Hes good. Had frost bite on his ears at some point so there damaged and short.. He hears fine.. But thats fucked up rite. Crazy shit. He also has fractured k9s which apparently is common for cats especially cats that have been on the streets for a time cause they end up starving trying to eat shit they shouldnt and breaking the teeth. Vet says i need to keep an eye on them cause they may need pulled due to the fact that they are more prone to collect bacteria and become infectes. Which sucks. But they dont seem to bother him.. So ill keep an eye on him. Hes shy as fuck but reaponds to petting attention really well. Hes pretty happy to have a home i think. Poor guy has seen some rough times.. They say hes about 4 or 5.. So hes pretty much an adult now. Fucking awesome cat.

I like dogs but not for an apartment. I would only get another german shepherd. Apt to small for a big dog and i hate small dogs for the most part.

I dropped like 160 on him at the same time as i adopted him. Carrier. 2 litter boxes. Food treats toys scratch post.. I read its good to have 1 more litter box than the amount of cats. They like options lmao.

Im gonna get him this 160$ scratch post that is tall and has a hole.. He really seems to like being in tight places,(i mean who can blame him, am i rite???) I think since hes been on the streets his comfort zone is when hes surrounded on 3 sides and can see whats ahead of him. G shit for realz. I respect that.. Hes becoming braver now.. Its been over 24 hrs.. He spends more time chilling on my bed before he realizes hes out in the open and runs away lmao. Sucked having to put him in the carrier for his wellness check today.. I know in his head hes prolly like mannn..."here we go again" ..but hes straight now. Aint got to be taken out anytime soon so he should get comfortable fairly quick given how much he loves attention and all. Glad we got him cause i was looking at a siamese/lynx hybrid and she was real pretty but i rly prefer male cats. They are a lot more interested in getting attention and seem more active and playful. The females always seem to have attitudes and shit. Typical smh.

Cats are the best, I don't have one right now but I've had a lot of them over the years.

Start saving for those teeth. They're eventually gonna have to come out and it's gonna cost 1k+. My cat had the same thing and you wouldn't know it until he stopped grooming as thoroughly... Cats are too good at hiding pain

Don't know how but my cat lost 1 of it's canines. Hunts less now cuz it's harder for him to kill. But he still did get some baby rabits. I can't remember if his empty tooth spot needed vet attention but I think it did. Can't remember what it costed.

Ya man. Vet says he seems ok but basically that it will need attention. Im thinking about just getting it over with and having them pulled. Sucks he has to go through that shit. But if hes gonna be in pain id rather get it done. Well see how it goes. So far i cant tell and he eats and grooms and does everything just fine. But i also read that cats are really good at hiding pain.. Same as sharp said. Idk man. Just fucked up situation.
