Would a single weekly topic for everyone to write on be doable? Have people rank their top 5 for the week. Have a point system 1-5 that accumulates to create ranks based on your total amount.

It’s a good idea, for sure, but it sounds a little like the Write Week contests we used to hold in this forum.

What I’m trying to revert back to is more a league format with a champ.

Happy to hear you're taking this route. Was something like what you're going for I'm hype for. Would have joined regardless but more interested in a league-format kind of thing.
