My point is people constantly claim they want artist to be real not label manufactured puppets but as soon as a artist displays a quality of realness they bash him for his opinions that differ from the mainstream way of thinking.

Kayne saying slavery is a choice had nothing to do with the times of the European slave trade. He is speaking of the things that enslave our black people still today. Its our choice to let certain things control our culture. We have the power to rise above the bondage that our people face in modern times yet we choose to be restricted by certain classes of society by allowing them to dictate our lifestyles.

Its nothing new Kayne said. Black Leaders have been speaking these same truths for 100 years.
