favourite season of the wire?
 

it's much maligned.. but i'd actually say season 2 after re-watching it all so many times.

season 2 is my least favorite

the one with the kids I enjoyed the most. think it was 4.

3 > 1 > 4=2 > 5

really art? i think it maybe does get off a little slow.. give it time. omar in court in season 2 is a classic.

watchin' season 3 right now, only thing season 2 is missing is more of avon on the streets.

Season 4 is my favorite, followed closely by Season 3. Season 1 is not far behind, but Seasons 2 and 5 trail.

Even so, Seasons 2 and 5 are better than just about any other season of any other drama.

That's it, thought he power struggles were more obvious in the street than in the police department in Season 3.

Season 4 is my favorite with 5 being my least favorite. The newspaper storyline was just boring. Everyone I talk to seems to hate season 2 though, but I loved it. Sobotka is a G. I'd re-elect him.

The corner is doope, funny seeing characters like lt Daniels wife and mayor carcetti's advisor as crackheads. Shiiiiiit.

Basically. I know they said somewhere that they wanted to focus each season on a new element, while still keeping with the same thread of story.

1 = Drug Trade
2 = Docks
3 = Politics
4 = Education System
5 = Newspapers

Season 3 was easily my favorite though. It invoked the most emotion throughout. We were introduced to Marlo. We were introduced to Tommy Carcetti. The Barksdale crew crumbled from within. Etc. It felt the most complex to me. It felt the most complete to me.

But season 4 is a close second.

Is it on Netflix? I've never seen it but always wanted too
