The cheaper the bigger the hangover rookies

Pent uP 07-14-2013 06:53 PM

Depends on the night and company
Beer on a week night
Single malt scotch on a night
Tequila with a big group
Rum with a big group
I homebrew so beers big but really I just drink sometimes

NYCSPITZ 07-14-2013 06:55 PM

^^^ how long did it take u to learn how to homebrew

Pent uP 07-14-2013 06:58 PM

One weekend? Iono. Ive been at it for 3-4 years now and ive gotten some real good feedback overall...I was taught by someone whos been making brew and wine since before his grandparents passed...hes old school and really knowledgeable so I learned how to do stuff the long way and adapt to todays technology. ..its backwards learning but it made me a bettee rounded brewer. I also can say ive never done a kit beer or extract brew and everything's been from scratch

~RustyGunZ~ 07-14-2013 07:06 PM

Recent favorites I've tried for brews are Adirondack Ale and Black Forest by Saranac and Tsingtao

Usually cop 2 six's of something I haven't tried yet, got a dope beer store here with all sorts of shit from around the US/World

All time favorite brew is Tusker Premium, some Kenyan shit

Hard shit I just stick with Jameson, shots or on the rocks but I mostly drink beer. Sometimes w/e rum the bar has on deck.

NYCSPITZ 07-14-2013 07:07 PM

word @ jameson, 1 liter of that 4 lyfe

ill nik-A 07-14-2013 07:29 PM

Pent uP 07-14-2013 07:30 PM

Sapporo is a cool beer for what it is.

my dad used to drink that though when i was a kid so im a little biased

NYCSPITZ 07-14-2013 07:31 PM

saporro is cool my pops drank it too...light and rice based...too expensive

Pent uP 07-14-2013 07:32 PM

^^exact

~RustyGunZ~ 07-14-2013 07:33 PM

give me some suggestions @pohfig

Pent uP 07-14-2013 07:38 PM

schwarzbier by köstritzer

one of my favorite black beers..judging from what u listed....otherwise what kind of beer do you like (style not brand)

~RustyGunZ~ 07-14-2013 07:41 PM

honestly anything, I just love beer

if I was to pick one I liked the least it'd be IPAs

Pent uP 07-14-2013 07:46 PM

im not huge on IPA's either..with that my favorite beers are saisons and belgians...both hailing from belgium.

Try Delerium Tremens
Chimay (blue or red, skip white)
Orval (any of their beers)
If you ever see anything from The Bruery (itll be overpriced, just fyi) I'd try it if i felt like spending the $
Lagunitas Wilco Tango Foxtrot is a big hit IMO
umm...it really depends on the season and what's available in your area....

you gotta understand its judged within the style. you're not gonna compare a hef to a stout. If you prefer a stout and compare a hef to it its like starting with a 30 point handicap. The beer for its style is phenomenal - if that beer is in the 80's for you, you just dont like the style by 20 points. lol

word I like IPAs and shit like delirium and a bunch of other expensive bullshit. I'm in NYC so I have warehouses filled with exotic beers @ my disposal. Hef I guess is not my thing but this hef is pretty dece.I really like dogfish head so I guess that makes me a yuppie

Pent uP 07-14-2013 08:37 PM

DFH is like the east coast version of The Bruery...really off the wall formulas. high octane (Bruery more so), and overcarbination

but the results are usually exceptional

NYCSPITZ 07-14-2013 08:39 PM

word imma be on the lookout for that bruery shit. where u live LA

Pent uP 07-14-2013 08:40 PM

im out in san jose..about 6 hours north of LA

NYCSPITZ 07-14-2013 08:41 PM

word the sharks choke in the playoffs but that's cool. U got fly hunnies and good weed out there?

Pent uP 07-14-2013 08:47 PM

I cannot deny any of those 3 statements.

Weed is second to none really. Though I havent smoked in years. The honeys are abundant and its summer right now so all the merrier...

We're getting the new 49er stadium built about 6 blocks from my crib...im trying to get tickets to superbowl 2015
