btw. just copped holy grail, and...
Tbr.. I don't fully fuck with it. Coles shit was instantly dope upon first listen. I'm having a hard time finding shit I like on jays tho. Anyone else experienceing this
yup, production easily out shines jays content tbh
J.cole > j.carter. easily with born sinner vs magna carta
Haven't heard born sinner, but holy grail is decent.
jay production better but coles all around i enjoy more tbh
born sinner is pretty dope, first play through you could tell it was a good abum, whereas grail may or may not grow on you after a couple playthroughs
@Genocide , did you cop that Prodigy yet?
Coles album the best i've heard in years
I don't have an ipod that works nor a computerr to put tunes on rite now.. so I'm on my cd shit as usual.
that Prodigy shit is best album of 2013 imo. Best Buy had it online and has free shipping.
Head prodigy shit is dope but word
J.Cole > Jay.Carter easily |
Don't agree
Gonna give it another spin at born sinner |
You really a hard core jay fan my nigga??? @ill nik-A
I'm a fan of the music
It's not all about lyrics it's the total package j cole on the first spin didn't do much for me |
Born sinner and mchg felt flat on first listen.
I think jay z's joint has some tight bangers, but I love how hungry cole sounds. |
I thought j.cole album was cool. Some songs bored me and didn't have playback for me.
Put me on Cole tho MCHG was decent. Production was pretty dope but didńt like jay RAPPIN lol That intro track made me bust out laughing. I love oceans and heaven tracks tho. I got like 6 songs I liked from it. Everything was Wack or boring to me. Born Sinner>MCHG |
Thought the jay was easily the best hip hop album this year.
Yup
Never fucked with jay z, ever.
born sinner was far superior to jay's
Ive never liked jay z. At all.
i've been trying to feel Jay-Z for 15-16 years.....
Unfortunately, for me, while he is a SICK compliment on a track, his delivery gets tired to me after a few listens on his own. To this day, one of his illest tracks to me is still: Jay-Z - "Coming of Age (Da Sequel)" (feat. Memphis Bleek) word up lol |
^^^ exactly, and tell me memph didn't outshine him
Quote:
didnt say this verbally, just had some shit on my mind" ..... "shit, im the one that MOVED this stuff while he drive around town in brand new coups and stuff" haha, woof. word up bro..... i thought i was gonna love bleek from '97 on after this -- but indeed -- Jay, as most of his DOPE collabs, was outshined once again.... RIDDLE ME THIS YA'll --- what DOPE collab has J outshined the 'other dude'? from Big to Memph , from Em to West... Collabratory Rape. i respect his Jay's longevity, just not his girth. |
Jay's mostly over-rated tbh
@Genocide i got a link to prodigy's shit, want it?? |
anyone else mad he wasted the best beat on the whole fucking album for the 40 second Timberlake intro? that shit was awesome. then it switched to his verse and it's garbage as fuck. i perused the songs and there's almost nothing i'll listen to. he has nothing to say anymore. he just says midlife crisis bullshit in the slickest way possible, whilst getting production im not interested in.
a complete meh. |
@namix
I thought jay outshined west on Paris But I dont lime west as a rapper so possibly biased...but that michael/take your pick line was bodybag imo from jay |
yea i didn't really like Jay-Z's new album.. Cole's beat Yeezus & MCHG.. Not by sales but.. you know what i mean..
I don't believe y'all lmao wow
No wonder why battle votes suck so bad |
