Do you believe God created the universe? |
I am not wise enough to tell you but there is an all pervasive spirit such as the force/god/universe which imo helps people if they understand they're connected to the SOURCE ENERGY and are possibly...manifestations of that energy experiencing itself??????????????

Where do thoughts come from?
|
not feeling how VERITAS feels the need to derail every potentially interesting thread towards a theological debate.
you know what you're doing. just stop. |
Dead man. Not feeling how you are feeling that is what I am doing. 8th is the so critic method buddy
|
from your past and your karma or some shit. enlighten me g
how is it that u have an "internal locus of control" when u are constantly evaluating and judging others with some degree of malice? Not hating, just an observation |

As a Gemini earth dragon, I have two very stubborn consciousnesses.
|
My locus is very internalized and i seek the same for others.
I am asking where does thought come from. I am making a point. |
Well, I could be wrong professor veritas, I usually am, but my perception of your persona here is that you're unhappy with "the ignorance of others here" and that begs the question why. If you wished good for others you wouldn't have a cutting tone to all of your responses. I'm going to have to ask you to look deep and question where your frustration really is coming from, inside of your psyche. Until you can do this and stop denying your problem, I will be forced to block your comments because they appear as ignorant to me as mine undoubtedly appear to you.

One time I was taking a class at the City College of New York in ASTRONOMY. Taught by my fellow human Michio Kaku. That asian dude who always appears on science channels, co-creator of string theory... The guy's obviously brilliant in his field. He has a cavalier sort of charisma to him and curses in class a lot. The class in itself has an absurd bell curve and I got an A- barely studying and understanding less than half of what was on the final. All we did was watch movies about planets and shit and hear him tell stories and share his perception of reality. He entered the lecture hall a lot of the times with his head down, lost in thought and undoubtedly lost in his own vanity (a form of denial which stems from his asian heritage. Ironically he had a Japanese assistant who he constantly disparaged because he seemed to encapsulate asian culture and its modesty/denial to a T). Now, I thank the dude for giving me an easy A in the class. Shit, sometimes I got other people to write my name down on the attendance list and j skipped the shit. But one thing that pissed me off, was the smug look on this asshole's face as he talked about how 9/11 was obviously destroyed by planes and that astrology is an ignorant science of the past. Why? Mostly the astrology part bc it's real. Also because he seems to be a hypocrite to be real. During one class he was mocking we young undergrads by claiming how absurd human attraction is. "What's attraction come down to..." he said. "Estrogen markers" he said. "what NONSENSE" he said as girls giggled. What the fuck is this asshole doing in his spare time??? I GUARANTEE you he's sharpening his tool as often as possible. Fuck. Now, I love and hate the guy, but sometimes when you're lost in EGO (wow I'm so smart I know more math than ANYBODY IN THE WORLD THAT MEANS I KNOW EVERYTHING INCLUDING REVERSE PSYCHOLOGY) you miss obvious, basic principles of reality. One of these things is spirit. I respect if you think that consciousness is limited to firing neurons, I just sense there's a deeper principle than that. And astrology is one of them |
What are the characteristics of a Capricorn?
Sources differentiate Ambition=one of the reoccurring traits though. |
In terms of man's attempt to understand the universe, the divergence between the sciences (that is, the paradigm shift from sitting around and thinking about things to experimentation and evidence-based data) and the realm of the spiritual, particularly in terms of ancient man's methodology of understanding, are complete modern constructions. In most cases, they are quite complementary and strengthen our understanding of existence and reality. Witty, open your heart. Then your nostrils. Then, your mind. But always keep that butthole clenched.

It stay clenched.
Always, even when I poop. I'm a magician. |
oats u sound real smart right now

Consider this: the act of thinking has biochemical and physiological consequences. The most common examples of this are blushing and boners; you think of something and blood flow increases. Neurologically, consciousness is self-perpetuating. Thinking expands and alters synaptic connections, increasing electrical flow and all that.
So although Veritas is bringing it up from a religious standpoint, he asks an important question: where do thoughts come from? If your answer is electrical impulses in the brain, you are conceding an anomaly in the universe, that electric impulses are both the cause and effect of themselves, a notion that wouldn't sit right with any traditional scientist. Granted the mysteries of the human brain are on par with cosmological mysteries (that is to say, we know very little about either), but there seems to be a fascinating gap between our neural activity and behaviors that seems, at this point, dauntingly unexplainable. These sorts of mysteries lead me to love science as well as explore other vessels of human understanding. |

No. Do you question what you see or do you accept what you see? Do you change what you see or how you see it? You may be opening a portal you're not ready to go through. |
