i didnt believe it until i tried it, now im full-on businessman -- seattle this week, NY the next... im not even golfing for work, the universe just makes it happen when you're a golfer.

you'll just appreciate the finer things in life and get it done.

Never tried it, actually. A lot of my colleagues always invite me to go golf'n, but I always decline. I'm a huge baseball fan and still play (Have played since a young lad, maybe about 5 years old and now 30, lol). The drive is wayyyyy to awkward for me as I'm use to swinging bats, lol. If that makes any sense.

totally - i sucked at golf... i played rugby in college and most sports i played were because i was intense... that same competitiveness hurt my golf game for a minute, but its worth getting it right man --- easier to play golf than to get a pick up game at the sandlot going 10-20 years out for ya

Yea, I hear ya. I've even tried going to the driving range to adjust my drive, but for some reason, I can't break the "Batters" swing as golfers call it, lol. I'm probably going to the drive range this weekend, tho. Good time, the last time I went, actually. I'm trying to get into it, and always get such great feedback on the sport from others. I'm still biased and don;t know how it's considered a sport but w/e lol. I guess it's competition, right lol.

Believe it or not, Softball's a bitch when you've played baseball all of your life. Especially in the 6' Arch leagues, LOL. My 1st time playing a game, I sub'd in for a bud's team and talked mad shit, How there is no way I can strike out, I'm going to drill these fuckers an hit them out the park... this and that... 1st time up to bat, I struck out, LMAO. It was quite embarrassing, bro LOL... Fuckin 6 foot arch killed me, hahaha.

I know man. Played baseball from ages 7-21. Softball is a whole different monster.

keeping my left arm straight/locked (right handed), on my swing seriously changed my game. I went from "topping" the ball like 20% of the time, to hitting it in the sweet spot pretty consistently now.

we were eating at Seastar in Bellevue (best crab bisque i've ever had)... and the fire 'lights' went off in the building, but the message was something like "a serious threat has been reported in the building"...

they made everyone evacuate and move to the other side of the building/street...

I had the group i was with follow me to the valet, because i knew we had one shot to get our car and get to the airport....

by the time we pulled back around the block, there were 5 fucking fire trucks, and the valet was blocked off...



something went down but maybe it was just a bomb threat or something? 5 firetrucks seemed like a fucking lot though lol


anyway, just morbid curiosity... i assume things ended okay since it didnt make national headlines lol
