Just finished dexter season 7 & 8
 

Wow what a piece of shit. They really tanked that series.

worddd the first few seasons were ill.... especially how he was awkward and seemed to struggle with human interaction etc

I downloaded true detective the other day, guess ill give that a spin next

I have heard so many good things about the first one to three seasons (depending on whom I ask) but so many bad things about the last three or four that I just don't know that I'll ever watch it.

You can seriously watch 1-4 and just be done with it. You'll miss one interesting plot twist after that but it's not worth the bullshit.

1 & 2 are classic seasons. 3's meh to me. 4 was the start of the decline but Lithgow's performance was so good it masked it.

They are considering a spin off so I heard. I don't know how the fuck I feel about that and of it started tomorrow I'd probably give it a shot 4 months from now but hey, it's whatever. The ending was just such a huge disappointment.

The best ending would have been him getting caught, I think. That's kind of what the fans, or at least I, always wanted. Then the fall out and explanations, reactions from Miami Metro, his stepkids, etc.

They tried to do too much when a home run of an ending was there from Day 1.

I'd watch a spinoff of dexters nanny banging men and screaming Puerto Rican words. That'd be a worthwhile show

I think it would've been better if all of miami metro pooled together an bought dexter his first car so he could go to job interviews. then he writes a touching thank you/goodbye letter to his friend/mentor Robin Williams & when Ben affleck goes by his apartment to pick him up for the bar .......he's just gone.

This show was like Lost. It got so fucked up in the last few seasons that all they could do was try and salvage it with that ending. He takes Deb out into the ocean as a storm rolls in? lol Ball was dropped hard.

atm i'm like half way through The Walking Dead s.3 and i downloaded Game of Thrones but after watching the pilot episode that shit seems boring as fuck to me... I dunno... I might re-watch. I havent deleted it yet.
