Yeh.. didn't really know who all to tag but word.

Going to try to do at least one a night for the next week. If anyone would like to help that'd be dope (obviously people that would teach and not learn)

Gonna try to get these done: Wordplay 101, Wording 101, Multi's 101, Generics 101, Personals 101.. Any other ideas? Any that should be more bunched up together?

Oh, my bad. I thought the tutoring thing was anything from topicals to battles. Didn't know it was mainly battling even tho' I signed up for the tutoring stuff on AoB, heh. Either way I wasn't really serious about it and I guess I'm the only one that gets annoyed by it (even tho' I probably should get better at it myself).

is that really all that relevant in topicals though? Idk I mean @King Keith could do one I suppose seems like a waste of time though

@Split isnt this a site about hip hop and the music its about? Not strictly a text battle site. I fail to see why tutoring on how to present yourself on a microphone is a bad idea.

The thing is though, it used to be a solid mix of text/topical/audio with some gfx thrown in...on places like RB there was something for everyone and it was active as shit in it's day....RIA's problem was that it set out to cater mainly to audio heads and there just weren't enough of them to keep the site active, the text heads split and the topical heads split eventually too. It would be awesome to have a good mix of everything.

I expect all of Beethoven's Waldstein sonata, Debussy's cathedrale engloutie, and Prokofiev's third Piano concerto analyzed in lead sheet and Roman Numerals.

be prepared to discuss tonal choices in all of them, especially modulations in the development of Waldstein to get us started and we'll relate the other pieces as the class progresses. At the end you'll write and perform your own prelude in the style of either Ravel, Shostakovitch, Haydn or Handel

and I'm sorry fi you dont like me but I'm going to be rough on you if you come to class unprepared. I'll accept Debussy's Girl with the flaxen hair if you think the cathedral is too difficult, and any movement from Prokofiev's Lt. Kije suite would do if you feel the concerto is too much, but I will not make exceptions for the Waldstein, it is more or less the basis for my 200-level course.

props on this knucklehead . this is what I had envisioned when I was working with Namix to get this off the ground. just seemed like everyone was too lazy to write something up breaking shit down step by step.
