Harvard Science just took a deuce on your religion
|
So where did the big bang come from?
|
Doesn't disclaim God.
Disclaims creation theory. |
No it doesnt.
|
To bible thumpers this does indirectly disprove the theory that god create all that was see in 7 days
|
lol this needed proving still?
brb harvard being dumb af wasting money "earth is round, says new harvard study" |
I was reading about this yesterday, glad someone posted it. Definitely an exciting find, and one of the more interesting corners of astrophysics (early universe theories). It's fascinating to me because on earth, things erode, decay, and altogether disappear due to atmospheric interferences, but in space there are still possibilities to discover direct remnants from the beginning of the universe. Even when they're as small as gravitational waves.
These small gravitational variances, by the way, are the reason why any life is able to exist. Without them, all matter would be uniformly distributed over the expanse of space, making it impossible for any matter to congregate close enough to a star to sustainably exist. In terms of pure science (not considering religious implications, that is), it's a really exciting discovery if it continues to check out, which all sources seem to suggest it will. |
You all err.
There was a gap of indeterminate time in between genesis 1:1 amd 1:2. Big bamg amd genesis do not contradict. There was a world on earth before the garden of eden. Does anyone of you care? Or is your mind made up? |
Veritas, is your mind made up?
|
veritas, you're dumb as fuck if you can't see that Christianity is a straight manufactured religion to keep the weak in line
that said, this does nothing to disprove god the infinite expansion that occurred in virtually no time at all does little to disprove it, and almost, does more to prove gods existence than the opposite. |

the thing humans struggle with the most, is the man made idea of a thing called "TIME"
when in reality it doesnt exist. everything is happening right now. everything you ever did is happening right this instant. so is everything you will ever do. there is no time. its just something human brains perceiver to explain everything not happening at once i try to tell people but they dont get it wer'e just the fires of the all |
This thread took a sharp turn to stupid

"Hi, my name is God, but some of you might know me as the big bang"
In the end we'll probably just see that science and faith were both looking at and describing the same thing but calling them different names. Seek and ye shall find --- perception is reality... read more about those universal truths in the Bible if you're religious, or in the "Uncertainty Principle" if you favor science. At some point, something served as an "initial impetus" --- and we’re too busy dissecting the differences to see the similarities. Whether it was the Big Bang, God, or both:
...and now we create in our image; our cells replicate themselves in their image, we reproduce and pass on genetics in our image, we invent and advance technology in our image. Then we use our creations to support or contend the existence of God or the big bang.... and coming full circle, we simultaneously want to be a part of something bigger than ourselves yet contradictorily want to be the end all be all… s’how we were created, Alpha & omega... from need God to be God and everything in between. |
my creation theory
In the beginning:
a man of faith looked up, a man of science looked down; they were far too busy debating the truths they found, but would have seen the same thing in a different way had they looked around. |
Lol at shits on religion
I have all the things to say... rationalizing your faith away |

time exists in the minds of those perceiving it, but word, it is definitely a subjective measure of the "space" between two points. in terms of it all happening at once... the best way i try to explain your point is through a dreams... it feels like you are experiencing time 'relatively' normally until you actually look back on it, and there's no reason we won't look back on our lives like a dream... In a world of polarity, time can only exist with timelessness.. so i do think what you said makes sense, for what its worth lol. |
