Another week, another thinning of the herd. I'd like to think we're done with mass no-shows, though I'm sure there will be at least two or three this week even with only 22 members as opposed to last week's 32. For those who are 2-0, it's a good idea to keep in mind that the first contendership matches (two of them) will be next week. I actually think discussing votes after a battle is closed can be healthy, provided it's done with integrity and respect.

Hardest part this week is choosing a topic. It's easy for me to spend too much time settling on one and then I'm late going through the motions I regularly do writing. Might just have to pick one at random today so I can get started.

I recommend picking a topic quickly. I'll go into some advice on these topic types for the magazine, which should be up tonight.
