Dead man is a genius b/c he can create HOF in less than an hour. It's just a guess but I think he doesn't even put much effort into a lot of dope verses where most other top heads grind them out. I think only Vulgar and black have that ability to type dope shit out verse after verse because nobody else does that. Lars is dope but he obvi wants it the most this tournament. Which, I give mad props to him for because it's a very masculine trait and we all BOYS. When men have a strong desire, unbreakable will power and a definite will to succeed they usually do in any endeavor. That's why I got Lars even though I think black is superior. By a big margin? Nah...but a pretty significant one in my humble opinion. Others will say the opposite, Lars is better and that's fine, it's all opinion dawg...

bt dubs, to make it clear, I think almost anyone in the league with concerted effort and willpower can attain to the #1 spot. People act like it's genetics when it's all about practice, willpower, persistence.

I listen to that song nearly every day.

All three go hard as fuck in completely different styles. The one thing that Kanye West has not replicated since his first two albums is the quality of his featured guests' verses.

Has a lot to do with his persona now. Back in the 'College Dropout' days he was still an unknown quantity even to himself. Wasn't sure he could be a star. So he wasn't afraid to not be the star on his own track so long as it improved the song. Now he's implanted in the zeitgest and isn't afraid. Has its upsides and downsides. Plus he was so much more focused on proving himself through talent in his early days, via production and just amazing song structuring. He still makes great music but it's not as pure.

Then again I'm drinking, about to go play blackjack and I'm feeling poetic. People don't really change and it's a small sample size influenced by my own uninformed opinions of him as a person. But I stand by my ramblings.

and there is genetics involved. its called survival of the fittest, except were not surviving when we write, it applies the same set of chemistry in a different void. if blacks life or lars life depends on this battle they would come out with a concerted effort, and that large margin you speak of would be diminished because it doesnt exist and your opinion is wrong because youre a human and im a mustachio baby god. i think lars excels in things deadman doesnt, the only thing imo separating them is probably a lynch of literary phrasing, this is in topical writing of course I havent seen them in other areas of writing but I feel topical writing accentuates a lot of points and strengths that other writing may not.
