I'd wait to be honest. Heard google may be dropping some type of game console that's supposedly going to shut down the XBOX-1 and PS4. It's more of a 3D type experience in gaming. Converts your living room in to what ever type of game you are playing, so for an example, COD - Your living room becomes a battle field, lol. Nothing but talk/hype and prototypes now anyways. But I'd recommend getting the XBOX-1. Or if you're in to PlayStation, then waiting a few months or so till all the BUGS and latest model is released.

The xbox is more of a complete entertainment system than just a game console. Connect it to your dvr and voice command channels and record shit. Seamlessly too.
