Being the resident russian I have a few things to say in this thread that are all facutal

Grey Goose is sweeter - so if your drinking it straight you'll probably like it better
Belvedere is top notch
Skyy is only good for one reason - it doesn't leave you with a hangover, but personally I think it tastes like shit.

Skyy's hangover claim actually is true (within reason) of any highly filtered vodka, including all of those. I never liked it.

I found out why once..Then I got drunk off skyy and haven't touched it since.

In high school, we used to run cheap vodka (Banker's Club, but any brand will do) through a Brita filter three times and then pour it back into the Banker's Club bottles and put tape over the labels that said "KETEL ONE."

We thought this was very clever.

But it actually works really well, as far as smoothness is concerned.

When my dad was our age or younger, him and his friends would put what little coin they had together (keep in mind this was in russia during the 60s/70s) and to get everyone drunk they would force carbonate the bottle.

I drink gin, bourbon and Scotch now, along with shots of tequila or Canadian whiskey when I'm going hard. In my younger days, though, I drank a lot of vodka.
