because you always have control over it, if its automatic, then you don't, and its more true.

manual is so 99 though, if you do that midaswell bring back crews and long bar battles.

and there was always complaints on nc's about the top battler list not being updated.

Tournament Records get updated after the tourney's finished. That's probably the reason.
