Yeah, apparently it's much easier to "heal" (well, not technically heal, but make sure it has no effects) in kids and babies, though. So I think we're still pretty far away from healing HIV, especially in grown-ups.

There is plenty of solid fact in the bible alone, whether you believe in a higher power or not. It is full of historic accuracy...the flood, the exodus, the kings and queens, the timelines etc etc

The only part that I believe is complete fabrication is the story of creation, I think it was a fairytale and doesn't belong in a historical book. Every religious text I can think of is based on some fact at least.

There are a number of texts in which he is mentioned, so I am not sure where you got that information from, the bible itself is a book written by the people of the time, whether the supernatural aspects are true or not, he also is known as a prophet in the Koran, and the Jewish people recognised him as a prophet...there are plenty of individuals who were around at that time who have written that he existed, individuals from many walks of life...the son of god part is contested, but many people of the time wrote of a man who was a great teacher and very wise...sort of like a ghandi of his time....a man who did fit the description of Jesus, although Jesus is a fabricated name...it was Yeshua aka Joshua.

It was over 2000 years ago, do you have any idea how many historical events and people only a few hundred years old are still mysteries? This was literally ancient times, it is always something that will be contested because the evidence is admittedly hard to come by, but it is there.
