Macy's is killing the department store game currently.

Bought two $65 ties and a $25 tie clip for less than $80.

Thank you based Macy's.

dull boy 12-04-2013 07:20 PM

Cool.

Certain 12-04-2013 07:20 PM

I need a new belt.

One issue with the world is that belts inherently get completely destroyed right around the one hole you use but stay in mint condition everywhere else. They need to solve this by creating more adjustable belts.

Ghost1 12-04-2013 07:26 PM

Macy's be overpriced, b.

We got outlets 10min from.my crib doe. Outlets da truf.

It is cool. I had a nice conversation with the clerk as well, if you care to know. I was in confused wonderment over all of the specials. I asked "Sir, do I get this 25% off card for free? No charge!?" (the sir and exclamation point are for effect, I apologize). He said "No charge; it's valid through Monday." I could feel a twinge in my loins. I had just wanted two ties, seeing as how my collection is ruined because I am a simple man who does not think to remove ties from laundry hampers. But now? With 25% off? I go to the tie clip section. They're in little boxes, like jewelry. Which seemed excessive at the time but who am I to judge? I'm sure their marketing team did a study or researched the market and found that this faux presentation made their product seem high class. And they were fucking-a right it did. I perused the selection and made my choice; a silver piece with some subtle engraving but nothing flashy. A tie clip of substance. It says "I'm here, but not to cause trouble. I'm an earnest, hard working man but I'm not afraid to throw a few back on a Friday on the clock." I go back to the counter where I had previously purchased my ties. My friend the counterman was helping someone else. I spent a good five minutes walking through the store looking for an open customer service station. One had a couple, consisting of a heavyset woman and a man who had obviously given up on life, buying five bowls. Negative, keep it moving Dan. Next some old lady was buying sequence dresses. Another non-starter. Wait. What's that in the corner? An open servicewoman, that's what. I dart over, through the women's section (bras hhehehe) and make eye contact. That's right, lady, I'm here to buy shit. I make my purchase and leave with two Macy's bags and an overload of swag.

I haven't even called you a faggot in a few days, this was uncalled for and hurtful.

dull boy 12-04-2013 10:55 PM

lol @ fucking-a right, making eye contact, dancake and @tags

I worked for JCPenny's for 3 days. I stole things. I don't buy much. Why would you when you can have them and the money they're 'worth'? I would wear ties were I to have a position that required them. I kind of wish I did, just so I would have an excuse to dress like an asshole. Not saying you're assholes, just that you dress like them. Ties are excusable for certain situations. Going to the mall isn't one of them, imo. I refuse to add the word hipster to my vocabulary, but I'm referring to them mostly.

PancakeBrah 12-04-2013 10:59 PM

I was going to the mall to BUY a tie dullboy. Get it together.

I take my tie off as I leave my place of employment. I then drive to my place of residence and put on sweatpants and a hoodie. And a tie.

Certain 12-04-2013 11:01 PM

I stole a 20-ounce bottle of Coca-Cola Classic once. That's all I've ever stolen. I still feel remorse to this day.

PancakeBrah 12-04-2013 11:04 PM

My brother used to steal shit all the time from Wal-Mart. He had some sort of system wherein he would go to the fitting room and take off the tags or something. Then leave. With the shit in his pockets? I forget. He got caught stealing a red bull when he had $20 in his pocket. He's been on the straight and narrow ever since.

I've never stolen from an establishment.

dull boy 12-04-2013 11:05 PM

Remorse for what?

dull boy 12-04-2013 11:10 PM

I steal from my present employer, then I sell the items on an Ebay account I set up after I started working there. Made $300 last week. I suppose if I worked hard to build a company it would bother me to realize I had a thief working for me, but I do it to make ends meet. It's better than selling drugs, I figure. I've always been fascinated with being a criminal. I blame Aladdin. I'm a product of my environment and economy.

I don't think I agree, but I'd have to do more contemplating on the issue to form a logical conclusion. I've never sold drugs, though.

Ghost1 12-04-2013 11:15 PM

Id say selling drugs is a more honest endeavor

Certain 12-04-2013 11:19 PM

I mean, if it's weed, sure. But what if it's heroin ... or crystal meth to suburban moms who then brutalize their children because they're tweaking?

Ghost1 12-04-2013 11:24 PM

Theyre gonna do that regardless

Thats the wrong way of looking at it.

As the drug dealer your providing a service to customers that are interested in a product you sell....both parties benefit in that regard.

As a thief.....the person getting robbed is at a loss.....every1 is not winning

Amd it just seems cowardly.....unless u on sum strong arm.robbery type.shit.....then that jist seems mean.

PancakeBrah 12-04-2013 11:26 PM

The 'people are going to drugs anyways' argument is incredibly short sighted.
