I haven't smoked any in my life, I probably should, I don't know. I'm trying to impress random people I meet so they think I know what their talking about it (peer pressure a bitch). Give me the basics, like I know what a bong is but that's about it.

when people talk about strains, they're basically talking about different families of weed

You have cannabis. which is all types

Then indica and sativa

Indica strains give you one type of high. Sativa strains give you another different type of high.

You can have blends that basically come from two different strains mixed together... most of the ones with the funky ass names come from like, parent strains that have been around forever....

..like Cheese or blue dream. those together give you blue cheese. Etc etc etc

In terms of smoking, there are


Joints- weed ground up and rolled into rolling papers, made of hemp, rice, or other plant base materials

Blunts- weed ground up and put into a cigarillo that's been cut or 'gutted' (all tobacco removed) and then sealed shut

Bowls- just a piece of glass that holds weed so you can smoke it, pretty much

Bubbler- same thing except the smoke is filtered through a water reservoir to filter toxins

Bong- super sized version of a bubbler... you pull a slide to stop taking a hit

Vaporizer- basically you heat the weed up enough so the THC vaporizes but doesnt burn

I smoke weed pretty much to relax. ADHD drugs got me feeling wired all the time, college got me stressin. Smoking a blunt down by the river just like clears my head.

I mean, it's a lot deeper than that, cause ive been smoking for awhile. Like, there are some groups of friends I have that will only get together and hang if we're gonna smoke.

And i/ most people in my town started because it was an easy way to get invites to parties in high school and because like half of my high school did it. AND BECAUSE 420 BLAZE IT FAGET WHY DONT U SMOKE ITS GOOD

@ Mael. well its more expensive the further you get from the mexican border. if you buy more, you get a bit of a discount... so a gram might be $20, an eighth $35, a quarter $70 even though a quarter oz is 7.1 g which if u bought by the gram is like $140
