My future top 10 QB ratings after Manning & Brady retire

Looking at 4-5 years from now, these are my predictions..

1. Joe Flacco
2. Andrew Luck
3. Robert Griffin III
4. Aaron Rodgers
5. Cam Newton
6. Matt Ryan
7. Ryan Tannehill
8. Matthew Stafford
9. Russell Wilson
10. Colin Kaepernick

Of course when doing these, u can't really include rookies, 2nd & 3rd year QBs coming on in the span of up to 4-5 years.

This is solely my opinion, & no offense shall be taken.

Post ur top 10 future QBs.

Diode 11-29-2013 11:02 AM

wtflacco

lmaoooooooooooooooo

wilson definitely belongs at the top of that list, he's the only one who didn't fall off

Swerve 11-29-2013 11:03 AM

I assume Brees has retired as well?

Strikta 11-29-2013 11:17 AM

Yes, Brees will have been retired, or fallen off because of age.

Wilson is too small.. I don't know that he'll be super productive around that time. He's dope tho don't get me wrong.

Flacco gets the top spot because he's still maturing his game(long way to go too, atleast 2-3 seasons before he hits his prime), & has the frame, accuracy, & arm strength to be the best QB in the NFL... sometimes need to work on his pocket awareness & footwork.. but it's OK for now imo.

uh-oh 11-29-2013 11:29 AM

flacco da god

lol at "fallen off" tho

he didnt fall off, he lost all his possession receivers and has had 0 running game

he's been playing great considering. the only thing thats different this year for flacco is the amount of INT's. but when your the offenses only hope and you've already thrown it 450 times thats gonna happen

timeless 11-29-2013 11:32 AM

wheres foles at on your list? dudes gonna break peytons record this week or next. fuck th eagles but still

I'm surprised to see Flacco at the top of your list. I do agree, he has the frame, the arm strength and can still improve, but the Ravens would need to do some changes if he is to be any better. I actually think if the Ravens bolster the WR core and become a spread team than ground & pound, Flacco will be up there, especially since the defense is always top-10.

My top 10 after Manning, Brady & Brees are gone:

1. Aaron Rodgers,Green Bay.- Already an elite QB and will win 1-2 more SB's.
2. Robert Griffin III,Washington.- Over Luck? Yes. He will be an elite passer & let's not forget a threat on the ground regardless.
3. Andrew Luck,Indianapolis.- Luck won't put up the big passing numbers like RGIII is capable of, but his frame & toughness alone is enough to give his team a chance to win in any game.
4. Cam Newton,Carolina.- I can easily put Newton at #2 because he can put up big passing numbers like RGIII and is bigger built than Luck. This guy will be ELITE.
5. Russell Wilson,Seattle.- I watched him his first 3 years at N.C. State & his final year in Wisconsin before entering the NFL and knew despite his size he would be the one of the best QB's in the game. And he is rising fast.
6. Colin Kaepernick,San Francisco.- Despite a step back this season, CP will be a very good QB for years to come. He has one of the strongest arms in the game & the most dangerous when on the run.
7. Andy Dalton,Cincinnati.- He has steadily improved & has shown flashes of being a very good QB. I don't know if he'll ever be on the elite level but he does enough to rack up wins.
8. Joe Flacco,Baltimore.- I was thinking putting him at 10th, but I feel out of all the QB's remaining, he has the most upside. It's just a matter of whether Baltimore will put together an offense that allows Flacco to display his skills. He is the dark horse of all on this list because he can be THAT good.
9. Ryan Tannehill,Miami.- Tannehill has underrated talent and can develop to become a very good QB in this league. I'm not sure if he can be that in Miami, unless they bring more firepower to surround him.
10. Matt Ryan,Atlanta.- I don't believe Ryan will ever be an elite QB, but he is one of the most consistent in the league even if this is a bad year for his team. He's one of the good ones who may not ever win a SB though.

Of course there is Eli Manning, Tony Romo, Phillip Rivers, Ben Roethlisberger and Jay Cutler- but I believe we can agree those guys windows are closing. I predicated my list on those who can still grow within 4-5 years as all the others have pretty much done enough. Romo, Rivers & Cutler will probably never win a Super Bowl. Manning & Big Ben have already done their thing, but who knows, they could probably do it one more time. There are other young quarterbacks in the league but they are too ripe to rate at the moment, and the others are just probably going to fall off. It'll be interesting to see how Nick Foles turns out.

I'm an eagles fan, and I'm still not sold on Foles. He's definitely been putting up astronomical numbers, but watching him play, he makes mistakes and gets lucky a good amount. I'd love to believe he's a franchise caliber QB but he's still got to play against a real defense before I'm willing to say he's half as good as his numbers indicate

Strikta 11-29-2013 12:44 PM

Not sold on Foles either.. we abused him last season.. he's just on a lucky streak.. his inconsistency will show up again sooner than later. Eagles ain't making the playoffs either.

& Eddie is just mad. Tho I did lol when I saw his post.

These rankings are all opinionated, fellas.

Fart 11-29-2013 01:07 PM

Cam has the highest ceiling by far right now
as long as Tennehill is a Dolphin he won't be great.
Wilson will have at least 3 rings

Strikta 11-29-2013 01:11 PM

Art, I know ur a homer & all.. but get real.. he might get 1.. & it'll be within the next 3 years.

That "elite" defense ya'll got is going to break down on the back end, IMO.

Earl Thomas will be awesome as fuck tho.. he's one of my fav players.. BUT.. everyone else will tumble in ur secondary in years to come.

Sherm stick might still be ok.. but who knows.

Fart 11-29-2013 01:13 PM

I dont think so
Seattles strength has always been defense

Strikta 11-29-2013 01:17 PM

Ya'lls secondary likes doing drugs... & the NFL is sooo against drugs... PEDs & recreational.

I do have faith that ya'll get a ring real soon tho.. & I truly want ya'll to get one... for my pops anyways.. would love to see Seattle win the big one before my pops sees the man upstairs. & he doesn't have much time left on this earth.

I root for Seattle bro.. my dad is from there.. I've visited twice & love the city.

But realistically I don't see ya'll getting more than 1.. the window isn't open that much if u ask me.

Fart 11-29-2013 01:31 PM

Lol what dude our team is hella young i think the oldest starter is Lynch actually. he'll be the first to dwindle too
the window will be wide open until lynch starts to decline
but we will at least get one before the niners get another one guarantee it
wilson is the next brees

Strikta 11-29-2013 01:36 PM

Wilson might be better than Brees when it's all said & done.

I know ya'll have a young team too.. but they break the rules lol.. suspensions ect.. it could get ugly if that kinda thing keeps up.

& yes, u guys def will get a ring before SF gets another one.. I firmly believe THAT.

Fart 11-29-2013 01:37 PM

Either way I'm 100% sure Brady will retire in 2016 if not 15
Manning will retire next year
Rodgers and Brees will also retire by 16 or 17, probly
Flacco, ryan, stafford, eli, and rivers will be the new elite with cam rg3 luck and wilson at their throats and i'm probably wrong as shit and 2 or 3 of these will be the new elite lol
the browns will keep drafting the best QBs and keep failing with them. Same with the Jets.
the phins will eventually trade or put tannehill at qb/WR for packages and sign another QB

Strikta 11-29-2013 01:39 PM

Sucks for the Browns.

I know ALL ABOUT not having a QB for yeeeears.

If they had a decent one back there they'd be srs.

...the Nagger 11-29-2013 01:42 PM

yea wassup with the league lettin pete juice his whole team up with no noticeable repercussions?

how many people are gonna have to get caught?

browner's wasn't for peds... but didn't he get caught last year for peds??

Strikta 11-29-2013 01:42 PM

I believe he did.

I'm sorry, I don't see manning retiring next year

Fart 11-29-2013 01:45 PM

Lol fuckin Browns. They need to revamp their entire scouting ways

n yeah Hawks haven't had a QB since 05, when Hasslefuck started falling. I was hoping we drafted Locker outta UW but fucking titans...

also wanted us to draft des trufant outta UW too... FUCKING FALCONS

probably not but not very much longer after that. It's pretty much written for Brady to retire in 2015 though

Strikta 11-29-2013 01:48 PM

Hasselbeck had that dope ass playoff game tho.. that's the last we seen of him.

Fart 11-29-2013 01:49 PM

LOL at juicing the entire team? Those are personal decisions...probably
love how everyone thinks the whole team juices because we have 7 suspensions overall BUT most of them were before pete
but i'll let the games speak for themselves

I didnt say they were going to win the superbowl. Even I doubt that

I'm just saying they've got as good a chance of making the playoffs as Dallas does right now. If they get stomped next week, Dallas is the clear contender

but the giants and skins arent even in the running for NFC East. The entire division is terrible this year, honestly. Which is odd because there was a time not long ago when our division was the most competitive in the NFL. Now it's just about who sucks the least

...the Nagger 11-29-2013 02:55 PM

oh tru honestly I just never really watch NFC lEast games like that, I have no idea what their respective records are

Fart 11-29-2013 03:13 PM

lol giants are gonna win it with 9-7, tho
Edit shit i forgot they already have 7 losses nvm

uh-oh 12-06-2013 07:30 PM

no one has won more games than flacco since he has been in the league

just a random fact

ill nik-A 12-06-2013 07:49 PM

Every Tannehill description in here is soooooo off, remember I live in Miami

Not disagreeing with the rankings though

Get him an offensive line and then we'll talk

PancakeBrah 12-06-2013 07:50 PM

1. Matthew Stafford
2. Cam Newton
3. Russel Wilson
4. Andrew Luck
5. Aaron Rodgers (Still this high despite being old af in 6-10 years)
6. Matt Ryan
7. Joe Flacco
8. Robert Griffin III
9. Ryan Tannehill
10. EJ Manuel

Top 5 I'm confident in. Bottom 5 I just threw together.

I'm a Bengals fan. Andy Dalton is one of the worst starters on the team. His top-shelf potential is to be the 10th best quarterback in the NFL one day. He's not even close to that now.

ill nik-A 12-06-2013 07:57 PM

So by these ranking no one drafted will be good?!

PancakeBrah 12-06-2013 08:01 PM

I think it's assuming that we can't predict future rookies so it's just taking stock of current NFL players.

I'd have thrown in Bridgewater and Winston if we included rookies. Maybe Mariotta.

Fart 12-06-2013 08:06 PM

Mariota's staying in Oregon this year

PancakeBrah 12-06-2013 08:50 PM

I do assume he's going to be in the NFL in the next ten years, though.

Reading comprehension, not even once.
