Well, gentlemen, after a weird Week 9, we're headed to the final week. And here's the good news: Anyone with five wins is guaranteed a playoff spot (if they want it). And anyone with four wins is in very good position. And anyone with three wins should be able to win them themselves into the playoffs. And even if you have two wins, you have an outside shot of making it. I am the only competitor guaranteed a bye and spot among the "Core Four." Why? Because I have more wins than you.

This week's theme is Native American sayings, in honor of Thanksgiving. Note that verses are due Saturday and votes Monday. There are no extensions this week. Here are the matchups:

@Vulgar thanks for the vote, and yes you nailed what I was going for with the don't trust the seemingly wise theme, the only one who caught it! As well as the first part "I'm just going to extremely rhyme shit 'cause I wanna"

I was torn between making it a full out story or doing a fantasy style religion theme. I thought I made the distinction clear enough in the last part, but yea, came up too vague on that and just detailed enough in the rest to make it too vague.

And, via my rough calcustimations, only 2 of the 4 people with 3 wins have a chance in the playoffs since there are 10 folks with 4 or more wins... But if Buddha, dam, Adonis and I don't get matched up together at all, and all win, Buddha and Dam get the spots because they have less losses, right?

There are seven people with five or more wins and two with four wins. Then there are five with three wins, not counting signed-out members Innovator, YDK and Just Write (who really should have signed their asses back in or simply done their voting in Week 8).

Mike Wrecka has a formula for strength of schedule to determine tiebreakers, but it may not come down to mattering much if everything breaks right.

Right on, lmao, I think I quick counted our 6-1 vote count in the 4 and more wins count, and skipped pat on the 3 win counts...
