You can switch a brain but you cannot switch awareness so awareness cannot be part of our brain.

We are in control...it is YOUR subconscious making that decision, it comes from YOUR mind, based on knowledge and experiences that YOU have gathered, how are you not in control?

Subconsciousness is not another mind or another you...all of it is you, consciousness and subconsciousness is a by-product of having a brain, you seem to think that because these things happen automatically it must mean it is separate from the brain, but it is just another part of your brain...without the physical brain, consciousness or subconsciousness does not exist.

Consciousness is just a by-product of the brain, it is how the brain sends instructions and messages, once the brain is gone so is any consciousness it had been producing because it is no longer being powered by the mind.
