In my opinion, words like "god".... "heaven".... and even terms such as life and death... are all words that we've been groomed to attach such DEEP meaning to.... that they practically lose meaning all together.

You control it all... (except maybe the penis part)... to some extent or another.... at least once we become "self-aware".
