Nah. Getting muscle implants or using synthol is more apt.

You still have to do a lot of work to make steroids effective. You have to do nothing but show up and get instant results with a tit job.

For a female I'd liken it more towards binging and purging or taking amphetamines to lose weight.

Insomuch as ingesting any supplement is frauding.

I don't juice and agree it's a shortcut with potential long term issues even if done in a perfectly controlled manner.

One could say the same for all the amphetamines in most pre-workouts these days, though. Just because it's methylated doesn't make it a different compound once the body absorbs it (sup prohoromones!)

The only thing I take is a post work-out protein shake and a strong diet. That's just eating correctly; a simple correction of food intake.

Steroids are a completely different subject matter.

Even if you are following the most up to date science on lifting and eating, taking a multi, taking preworkout and cutting every angle, it's not the same. You can try to argue that supplementation is a form of "cheating", but it's not. You're simply maximizing what you're naturally given.

Once you inject a steroid ONCE, it's no longer a competition against yourself or your own limitations, genetically. You're giving up, and saying "I'm not good enough, no matter how hard I try" even though you haven't put forth the effort to maximize your own potential. Weightlifting is a process, a long one at that. It's a reality check. Anyone who opts for steroids is a fucking joke in my estimation.

One could argue that juicing extends those limitations, allowing you to work that much harder, and that anything that allows you to reach your full potential is worth it.

Common pre-workouts include enough amphetamines to do just as much "cheating" of your natural ability to qualify against your moral outrage, to be perfectly honest. I have no cognitive dissonance in recognizing that the DMAA in my original Jack3d is giving me more endurance that I would have naturally.. hence why it is banned by any professional and most amateur sports organizations.

How many juicers do you know used gear once they hit their genetic limitations, just to break through? It's beyond less than the majority.

Steroids are the 'Everyone Gets a Ribbon' for weightlifting.

I started off skinny fat as fuck, and worked naturally to get the decent to above average physique that I have now. Fuck a preworkout. Fuck a steroid. I've never done preworkout, tbh, but that was because I didn't think they were effective, not because of some moral code or anything.

But regardless, you're equivocating like a motherfucker. Those now banned pre-workouts aren't banned for the same reasons gear is, and you know that. Gear literally changes you on a genetic level. I can't reconcile that.

I look at weightlifting as the purest singular, isolated, test of myself that I do. It's all about me, what I can do and what I've improved on what I used to do. To take gear, in my opinion, is vanity. It's looking at my own progression and saying 'so and so looks more buff and pushes more weight than me' and then cheating to get to a level I could have earned.

What's your bodyweight to overhead press ratio?

Don't get defeated by the overhead press. It's going to be your weakest lift, by default. What's your program, I forgot.

If you're separating Bench/Dead/Squat/OHP then separate bench and ohp as much as possible. Your soreness from bench can be a detriment to OHP.

If you're doing Starting Strength and focusing on the A workout, expect your overhead press to be weak. I'm sure on the weeks that you start with the B workout after rest your overhead press is better.

I got hung up on my OHP number for a while, but it will come. It's a fucking awesome lift though. Doing more than 1 plate on OHP for reps gets all the bitches sucking your dick.

bags if it makes you feel any better i have a 320 bench (hoping for 325 finally next week!), 385 squat, 425 deadlift.. and am still stuck at trying to get 185 on a standing OHP.

now to be fair i dont cheat on form, my 1rms are after all my normal reps, and i had arthroscopic shoulder surgery only 3 years ago.. but this gives you an idea of what to expect vs your other oly lifts.

strangely enough my shoulders are my biggest muscle relative to typical measurements.
