The acting on Blue Caprice had some of the best acting I've seen in awhile.

You watched it?

The acting between Isaiah Washington and Tequan Richmond was perfect. It wasn't a perfect movie, but the performances put on by the principal actors/characters was flawless. The use of the soundtrack was great. An imperfect movie with perfect qualities. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

I wikipedia'd the incident after watching the movie. The white van thing was false. It was indeed a Blue Caprice. People were looking all over for a white van, cops even stopped a few and apprehended the wrong suspects due to it.

Tim Blake Nelson was awesome in there too as always but the most powerful moments were definitely between Isiah and Tequan especially the first kill. But yeah the acting was the star and the directing was actually decent but whoever made the decision to leave out several key moments in the story like when they get capture made a big mistake imo. It just gets started and then it ends right afterwards.

kickass 2 isn't one of them FYI

Olympus has Fallen - Pretty dope, so was White House Down for that matter. recommend both

The Internship - Had some shit that was funny

Ruby Sparks - Probably not for everyone, but I actually really really like this shit. The star wrote it too, the chick star.

Blue Valentine - I liked it, cause a big fight with the wife actually because apparently I act like dude. I thought he was funny as shit and that pissed her off more.



Finally

I watched "The Big Wedding" with wifey, wasn't awful which I thought it would be.

I think over half this list is shit I probably wouldn't have watched unless my wife didn't want to see them, but they were all relatively good.

Only God Forgives

I tried so fucking hard to watch this on 3 different occasions. Shit was just too slow. It honestly seemed dope if I could sit through it but I didn't each time.

Gossling is a douche in half his movies with less then average acting then drops a dope movie out of nowhere A la the one with Steve Carrole. That's my shit

Its a slow movie but I feel it thrives on the soundtrack and lighting to tell the rest of the story
there are some dope scenes in the build up...the ending didn't work well for me
then again I dont speak Thai


The Place Beyond The Pines was dope...fucking Ray Liotta is still in movies
The Way Way Back was cool had its moments Steve Carrell is quite a douche
I forget what else I've watched...
I just started watching Dexter finally so that's my focus

Dexter WAS so dope. Season 3 ass, season 4 dope then more ass followed util the end.

First few seasons dope, not sure about now, but at the time it was pretty ground breaking and shit.

I just watched Hangover 3 last night, shit was funny as fuck lol
