How many ppl here rent?

Apartment? Home?

How much do you pay monthly & where are you at?

Just trying to get some ideas

Hush 10-24-2013 04:04 PM

Avg rent is about 1,500

Neighbor 10-24-2013 04:05 PM

That's in Brooklyn?

Hush 10-24-2013 04:06 PM

Yeah. 1 bedroom

Answer 10-24-2013 04:07 PM

I'm in Halethorpe, MD - about 15 minutes west of Baltimore. Rent is about $920 for a 1 bedroom. The lowest 1 br you'll find around here is $700-750, but those are the roach motels.

Neighbor 10-24-2013 04:09 PM

I'm in RI

Paying $1,300 for a 2 bedroom w/ heat & hot water included

This is considered mid-high for my area

Just curious what other cities are like

Answer 10-24-2013 04:10 PM

Damn, that's insane. Water is covered, but the Gas/Electric isn't

PancakeBrah 10-24-2013 04:11 PM

Fargo is cheap. 750 for a two bedroom, decent place.

Mike Wrecka 10-24-2013 04:11 PM

I pay 1,600 for a 2 bedroom on Long Island

apartment complex, no amenities. places with exercise rooms and pools are like 1,850 a month for a 2 bedroom

Are you from ND?

Tom Sparks 10-24-2013 04:19 PM

500/month 2 bedroom

Heating n hot water not included

oats 10-24-2013 04:20 PM

I live in a shitshack for $1500 a month. One bed, one bath, utilities not included. I split costs with my gf though so it's manageable. Land on this side of the island is expensive as fuck.

Illinois as a kid then Ohio through high school and parts of college. Born in Michigan.

in chicago it really depends on what side of the city you're staying by.

uptown, 1100 for a 1br is about average

if you're near the lakeshore / gold coast area or downtown you're looking at 1500 at least..

south or west side is where the rent is cheapest for obvious reasons. only areas you'll dip under a grand a month. chiraq

Meth 10-24-2013 05:04 PM

900 for 2 BR

High rent is an unfortunate reality of living in Hawaii. I could always move back in with my parents but fuck that.
