ESPN's Top 500 current NBA players list...

Hi...

I agree with the top 3...
I disagree with Westbrook being #5 and Kobe being #25...

Bye...

Paradigm 10-22-2013 04:42 PM

Kobes rank is ridiculously hating

quick someone do a NC ranking jk jk

Allen Knight 10-22-2013 04:46 PM

Wow at 25 smh an having chris bosh ranked above him kobe is easily top 12 still

Certain 10-22-2013 04:51 PM

The rankings are for this season only. Kobe Bryant can't even run right now, with the season a week away.

The bigger issue is that they didn't adjust them for injuries, such as Russell Westbrook's.

Paradigm 10-22-2013 04:53 PM

james harden 4 lol... seriously.

Strikta 10-22-2013 05:03 PM

James Harden imo is the best SG in the league right now, next to a healthy Kobe.

Certain 10-22-2013 05:13 PM

When totally healthy, Kobe Bryant and Dwyane Wade are better than James Harden. But we already know Kobe is out probably at least the first two months of the season, and Wade has had knee problems for years that tend to act up most at the end of the season. Why wouldn't you project Harden to have a better 2012-13 season?

Harden averaged 25.9 points, 5.8 assists and 4.9 rebounds a game last season. He's really good.

Zen 10-22-2013 05:14 PM

Anybody got a link to this shit?

I don't know if it's been written out in a straight list format, but this will take you through all the picks:

Paradigm 10-22-2013 07:25 PM

No? Harden's numbers came from playing in the NBA's fastest system and without defensive responsibilities.

DLB 10-22-2013 07:35 PM

james harden isnt better than paul george & he is an SG switching to SF ocassionally

His skillset > Kobe/Wade. Regardless of system. He's better. It's cool. We can disagree.

uh-oh 10-22-2013 07:58 PM

kyrie irving number 8 tho? really?

i'll take it i guess

CAVSSSSSSS

King Ra. 10-22-2013 08:02 PM

Thunder is my squad and I agree with Durant being 2nd being James. Westbrook at 5? I'd say between 8-10. I feel D-Rose is 3 or 4 though. The fuck.

King Ra. 10-22-2013 08:02 PM

Rose >>>> Harden, tbh.

uh-oh 10-22-2013 08:03 PM

word i put rose above alot of them pg's ahead of him. i stopped checking for him after i seen irving at 8. where did they put him?

Cake, your analysis on basketball is putrid.

Kobe has the best offensive skill set in the league...he's 35 scoring 27+ a game still.
Harden may actually deserve a better rank...
But definitely not based on being more skilled, just younger and more athletic

King Ra. 10-22-2013 08:05 PM

Rose is ranked #9.

King Ra. 10-22-2013 08:06 PM

LMFAO @ Marc Gasol ranked 10. Fuck those rankings, seriously. You put Rose and Westbrook top 10 despite one returning from an injury and the other nursing one, but Kobe #25. WTF.

PancakeBrah 10-22-2013 08:13 PM

ergowrtgkwm

He's a better three point shooter, penetrator, and dribbler.

Kobe stans are hilarious to me.

I think your analysis is Dumb Fan 101 so it's okay if you don't enjoy my 'analysis'.

The Bully 10-22-2013 08:29 PM

That Fanboy shit is your go-to line man, same exact thing you said last time.
But I actually liked AI in that argument... never been in a position of routing for Kobe or the Lakers.
Dude has a offensive skill set that is studied by analysts because it's so deep...
basically adds a move every year and makes it a signature.

I like Harden better than Kobe. He doesn't have that kind of seasoning in his game.
It's not even really a debatable issue man. Are you trolling?

PancakeBrah 10-22-2013 08:37 PM

No, I'm not. It is a debatable issue. Harden shoots better from three, is among the best penetrating guards in the game, and handles better than Kobe. Kobe is a better midrange shooter. That's about it. He makes motrdifficult shots but overall, at his current age, he is not as good as Harden and less efficient. Prime Kobe was better. He's the inferior player now. Nothing you can bring up will change that or make me think otherwise, just like anything I say won't change your position. I have proof of my claims, you just say all the same things Kobe stans say. It's not a big deal.

Strikta 10-22-2013 08:37 PM

Kobe when healthy has a killer instinct that can't be stopped by anyone, or at this point hasn't proven to be stopped for long stretches. He's still the Mamba until I see otherwise... & I'm not a Kobe fan.

Lol @ these retards tho.. posting up players primarily playing the 3 when we discussing 2guards. Everybody gotta be a fucking know it all around this bitch, when it's obvious u youngins don't know shit.

lol foh yo.

SpookyDeep 10-22-2013 08:40 PM

You don't know shit either motherfucka

Strikta 10-22-2013 08:41 PM

U can try me if u want, wouldn't suggest it tho.

King Karaoke 10-22-2013 08:48 PM

Hi...

I would've ranked Kobe at #10 at least and that's with the injury...
Paul George is athletic as hell but is not better than Harden or injured kobe...
Im a Kobe fan but James Harden is better than him at the moment because he's faster and younger...
I know its a team sport but Ive seen Harden drop 40 plus and still lose...
there isnt a player in the league (maybe CP3 or Lebron) that can single-handedly win a game by himself like Kobe can...

Bye...

DLB 10-22-2013 08:54 PM

Rose shouldnt be top 500 if we being honest

son hasnt played a game in how long

DLB 10-22-2013 09:00 PM

also Paul George is better than Harden

George was the only dude to hold Lebron and score what he did and he stepped up out his norm to be the main guy for the Pacers in terms of scoring and just clutch in general

Harden shoots too much, esp 3 pointers and is less efficient. dude is a less efficient kobe w/ the ability to drive the ball but tbh he's not even the guy they should build around if we being honest. with dwight there & before dwight. harden should still be on the bench coming off tbh he's not the guy u want to build a team around.

George can be and has been the dude they can rely on in Indy and its vice versa for Harden. George is smarter than Harden and can get his guys open or himself open if we being srs but PG is not the top SG in the league

Thx for that one.
Will disregard any further basketball posts from you from now on.

Meth 10-22-2013 09:56 PM

Death being a homer again

DLB 10-22-2013 10:03 PM

lol @ u saying im wrong then almost always being right

harden is nothing but a guy who takes it in or shoots far ass shots and gets lucky. id rather have jeremy lin w/ the ball than harden tbh. best dude on that team and the heart of that squad is parsons and if he can develop, dude's houston's best bet. u niggas overrate niggas too much

Certain 10-22-2013 10:42 PM

I disagree with your analysis, PancakeBrah.

But the person with the biggest grudge against these rankings is Tony Parker, who comes in at No. 12 after having a top-seven season last year.

Darth Yoda 10-22-2013 11:05 PM

I don't believe in stats.

King Karaoke 10-22-2013 11:35 PM

Hi...

Wow @ Lin over Harden...
I'm done...

Bye...

DLB 10-22-2013 11:48 PM

u not winning a damn game w/ either of them just straight shooting the ball, i'd rather boost up lin and make more money off asians than they already have and will.

harden shot half the team's shots on a regular g, with an above-average team last yr. they should've been in the top 4 of the west if James Harden was really the #4 guy in the league and Westbrook being top 5 solidified this list as idiotic. Tony Parker should be rated the highest off of his performance in the postseason alone, along w/ his reg season being dope.

DLB 10-23-2013 12:04 AM

http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nba-ba...8011--nba.html

lmao @ kevin durant and stephen curry being listed as SGs by GMs

i know more about basketball than the GMs of the NBA, easily
