Unanswered Breaking Bad Questions I Have (POSSIBLE SPOILERS)

These tend to revolve around the ricin / Lily of the Valley extract, but firstly

It was never revealed how the Lily Of The Valley extract was slipped into Brocks food at school, never answered, that can't have been easy. It isn't like they let any random old man into a school unchallenged.

Why didn't Jesse put two and two together sooner when he found the cig in the roomba after he said he'd already checked it?

How the fuck do you get a substance in an unopened sweetener packet i.e Lydia being poisoned in her sylvia packet? Again, this is no easy task, I've tried opening one.

Other than that great finale, classic series no doubt.

Certain 10-02-2013 11:51 AM

In theory, Walt could have steamed open the stevia packet.

In reality, it's a TV show about a guy the show has established is a genius.

Fart 10-02-2013 11:55 AM

Also Walt knew when she would meet Todd, so he could of slipped it in somehow. She dead.

I wish Skylar would have died tho. Worst fucking character on the show

Zen 10-02-2013 12:02 PM

Jesse finding the cigarette could be easily explained because he just checked it but the thing went around the entire house picking up shit so he'd assume it finally picked it up somewhere. And I think Vince Gilligan gave an explanation on how they got the lotv to Brock but I don't remember it. Remember it's just a show man. They coulda ended it with Walt flying off on a rocket ship of they wanted to because its a tv show.

i had the same question about the stevia. he may have opened it carefully at the edges and then simply sealed it back shut with any number of adhesives.. probably not a huge process. what bugged me is how he remembered where they would sit.

Walt met with her at the same table dozens of times.

anime_boners 10-02-2013 01:03 PM

my fav part was when Stone Cold showed up and stunner'ed Malcom's dad for "jacking his look", then blew up the meth lab

Ghost1 10-02-2013 01:23 PM

LOL.

I think collectively sopranos was prolly better tbc.

The sachet was unopened, though, she opened it and poured it in. How could he have done it?

He didn't have a kettle to steam it open, nor the time...

Ghost1 10-02-2013 02:10 PM

Dude was in a cabin for a month....lol

He couldn't leave the cabin, he had no opportunity to snatch the sachet.

Boredom 10-02-2013 03:38 PM

didn't have to be that EXACT packet of stevia....

Fart 10-02-2013 03:43 PM

Walt is a genius, with all that time to do nothing but think. Maybe you should rewatch the entire series

namix 10-02-2013 03:53 PM

I think it's fair to assume the writers assumed that we'd assume anyone that is capable of going from a science teacher with cancer to producing the highest purity meth around, running his own drug ring under his DEA brother-in-laws nose, taking down well protected kingpins, drug lords and a team of neo nazis is also capable of putting ricin into a packet and drugging a little boy.

Lucos 10-02-2013 03:59 PM

you'd be surprised how many sugar packets you can open and close again with a couple of million dollars?

He was broke when he was at the café/diner re-arranging bacon.

Did you not see that all of his money was left at Gretchens house?

Clutter Buck 10-03-2013 03:00 AM

He had spent it.

Fart 10-03-2013 01:27 PM

I suggest you re-watch the entire season

PancakeBrah 10-03-2013 01:46 PM

REAL LIFE 10-03-2013 05:24 PM

THE WAY HE HANDLES ME AND FAILS PROVES THE INVALIDITY OF HIS OPINIONS.

Fart 10-03-2013 05:41 PM

Nah, Sopranos fell off before the last 1-2 seasons IMO. Finale was also garbage

uh-oh 10-03-2013 05:54 PM

i thought the finale was fine? he got murked out

i watched it after it aired on TV so maybe that has some effect on how i view it

breaking bad is a solid 8 out of 10.

sopranos is like an 8.6.

namix 10-03-2013 06:02 PM

i think im in a minority here, but i watched the entire series over the last month or so because of the rave reviews on this site.

the series was awesome, and am very glad i watched it, but i'd still put SOA just slightly above it :x

i think the specific story line of BB was probably as original as it gets vs. other shows we'd speak of in the same breadth. SOA just had/has stronger character development *across* more characters to me, which allows for more meaningful "sub-plots" within the overarching story... but again, just my opinion though :)

you aint helping me brooooooo

sons of anarchy is like a 5.4 out of 10 lol

but word. i think breaking bad was a good show worth watching. but i'd put alot of shows ahead of it. mostly hbo shows, so there is that. since this is amc or whatever channel on basic cable

aint really tryna help you bro - particularly if you put SOA at 5.4!

but yea the AMC vs. HBO does mean something for sure

PancakeBrah 10-03-2013 06:28 PM

Currently watching Deadwood for the first time. About 7 episodes in. Really good.

Diode 10-03-2013 06:36 PM

soa is a soap opera and not a good one

Fart 10-03-2013 07:10 PM

Soa is a soap? hahhahahahahhahaha

hahhahahahahahhahaha

uh-oh 10-03-2013 07:40 PM

diode is correct.

PANCAKE

deadwood is a top 5 show of all time.

9.7 out of 10.

EASY

PancakeBrah 10-03-2013 07:43 PM

so far i'd agree. bullock/olyphant and swearengen/mcshane are literally 10/10 in acting performance so far.

Fart 10-03-2013 07:49 PM

I want to rewatch Deadwood. Disappointing they didn't go further with it, i'll never understand that

PancakeBrah 10-03-2013 07:51 PM

i read an article saying that the set for Deadwood was one of the most expensive for a tv show, let alone a HBO show. got stopped for financial reasons.

Diode 10-03-2013 10:46 PM

if you like olyphant watch justified

so good

another almost 10 out of 10 show.

swearingen is a fucking boss. the writing on deadwood is the illest ever

when swearingen just goes on a rant to himself while talking to an indian head in a box while getting head from a whore its just about as good as it gets

WU is also da god
