Been on a horror tip lately. I’m not gonna include anything old because frankly the old stuff from the 70s and 80s are corny to me. If you can’t name 10 name 5. I’ll start:

It follows at one is wild but I loved it personally

It follows is really good… weird that I actually just re watched it a few days ago.

1. The original Halloween movie… not only because it was good but there is connotations of it… which is… in blockbuster during Halloween time they had on VHS the original, Michael Mysore Halloween shit on display so she thought was like a kids movie for Halloween.

Well that movie scared the shit out me and also might have been the first pair of tits I’ve seen.

I love chucky too.. childs play 3 the one where they’re in a fake army boot camp for bad kids and chucky replaces the paint ball blank rounds with actual bullets.

Tales from the hood, which was made from tales from the crypt I remember was really good too… I watched the next tales from the hood thing and it was a pharce joke, the first one was too I guess it just matters at what age and time period you watch things

Creep was fantastic.

Yeah creep 2 was also and I wasn’t even trying to like it.. I was against it before I even watched it… and it didn’t disappoint, she was all believable.

The fake “found footage” thing has been done a million times and it’s boring… that Creep one took it and made it seem real and legitimately scary.

If you dont have The Conjuring or The Others your list is irrelevant.

A deep cut too is Sleep Away Camp.. if you have any streaming service it’ll be on there.

Not really a horror fan so iunthink I could name 10

The original Pet Cemetery scared the shit out of me as a kid as well.

It follows is probably one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen

This is a solid ass list. It Follows at the top is bold. I liked it a lot. So much so that I was kind of pissed off that I felt like they missed some opportunities in the final act to make it great. House of the Devil gets such low publicity, but it’s also great and low key.

I think I’d have Hereditary instead of Midsommar but Midsommar did freak me the fuck out.

The twins and the bathroom scene made my skin crawl

Yeah elevator scene was terrifying when I was a kid.

Kubrick isn't fully understandable as a kid, you don't understand the real horror until you realize its an eternity at the Overlook ballroom

the exorcist bodied me as a youth. i don't watch horror movies pretty much ever. but hereditary was dope. i fucked with the ring when it came out.

I mean i guess it depends on what you define as horror. a big man eating shark in deep water freaks me out

watched the doc about when it was made, kept people off the beaches that year. so i mean shit id say its horror

I mean there’s still parts that I might not fully understand. Kubrick is a genius OBVIOUSLY but I think it hurt him because many people watch movies not wanting to have to think.
