Favorite wrasslers.

Only bringing it up because I just watched 2 Documentaries on A and E and it brought me back to kid stuff. I haven’t watched wwf since like... stone cold and the rock era. It’s kid stuff, cool if you’re an adult and still watch it.. but not for me.

Anyway the 2 docs... this one is half way over Booker T, the one before was Roddy Piper. And it’s really cool to see a lot of these earlier wrestlers came from nothing. Didn’t know the booker T or Piper story, crazy they were able to make it to almost a household name.

My favorite in kind of an order

1 Bret hart
2 booker t
3 undertaker
4 Vader
5 razor ramone

Ouch 05-15-2021 11:19 PM

I’m in my 30s haven’t watched it since I was... I dunno like 16.. no offense to people who did but I out grew it. Life, school, prison, wife, kids etc.

But my favorite match ever was when undertaker choke slammed mankind and the cage broke... and unless I’m the bigger fool on earth and they’re the bed liars ever.. that wasn’t meant to happen. Mick foley had a piece of his tooth in his nose... can’t fake that.

Stone cold.. is my all time fav. Obv. As well should he be yours and everyones.

Undertaker from the paul bearer and casket days would be second.

Hulk from 80s.

Bob backglund was fun to watch

And nails. The nails verse bossman fights were epic imo

I really liked sgt slaughter.

Favorite tag..
Man i Loved watching the rockers as a kid. The double drop kick was my shit.

Eviction 05-16-2021 11:34 PM

Stone Cold, The Rock, Bret, Shawn Micheals

current era: aj styles, kenny omega, john moxley

kungfugrip 05-17-2021 12:37 AM

The best part of wrestling way back when was that they would interact with u. I live in Toronto so we would go to Maple Leaf Gardens before it shut down, and me and my brother would weasel our way into the backstage area. The last one i remember was Diesel vsm Waylon Mercy.

Anyway

1 Bret Hart
2 Shawn Michaels
3 Undertaker
4 Jake the Snake
5 Ultimate Warrior

I saw Bret one time on Yonge street in downtown Toronto right after Owen died, we locked eyes, and his eyes told me 'not right now bro' so we nodded and went our seperate ways

Ouch 05-19-2021 10:00 PM

Yeah I loved Bret hart because he didn’t do a ton of fancy shit... he just perfectly did everything that he did and it legit looked like he beat the shit out of them... mad convincing.

Ric flair and macho man were the man too.. KungGrip said ultimate warrior but I was too young for that... he wasn’t a wrasslin when I was around

I liked sting a lot to.. as a kid sting when he was in black and white in wcw his finishing move was a reverse DDT or that’s what I’d call it, I gave that to my brother as a kid on cement and pretty sure I gave him brain damage.. I’m semi joking but yeah it split his head open

In that reverse ddt or whateve he let’s go of his neck before it hits, I didn’t, and it was on concrete... felt really really bad after and got the royal smack down from my dad too so that evened out.

Ouch 05-26-2021 07:48 PM

I do admit though Benoit had the greatest finisher of all time.... he proved that all at once.
