I’ve seen some conflicting info. On one hand they said he’s been taken off life support and doing better, on the other hand I’ve seen reports that he has little brain activity going on. Either way, dark and hell is hot was a classic and a huge influence in my life and I want to see him pull through. Drugs are in every neighborhood affecting everyone from the homeless dude on the corner like ouch up to the white collar businessman. It’s a sad state of affairs that I never want to see, regardless of what caused it.

On the flip side the dozens of charges of animal cruelty against X makes it harder to sympathize with him. Ive got conflicting emotions but hes a legendary talent regardless

I read that he was out for 30 minutes after 11 minutes the brain is done, so most likely the family will have some decisions to make real soon. ( regarding to take him off support and let him die ) it's cruel to leave him on life support passed this point.

All that aside I always looked up to dmx in a certain sort of way... him being from a rough area.. he was i Yonkers but o was close and I didn’t grow up in an orphanage, but close. And drug addiction issues... not a crack head but pills and then dope. I get it.

I watched my parents in the same condition, (not drug related) it was hard seeing them at the point because they get really cold and start shivering I can't imagine them letting him go in that condition much longer, not sure it's the same situation but they said he was out 30 minutes and limited brain activity, if he comes through he will need help doing everything and it will be a question if he remembers anybody, the dr's have problably already been pressuring the fam to make decisions, my dad was out 11 minutes and they said it would be nearly impossible to recover.

And he was a combat veteran.. but that’s not enough to raise 4 kids no matter how hard you try.. my little brother killed hmself in 2008... like a month after he graduated Hs... my older brother got shot I. The street and no one cared on Lennox ave in Harlem... my brother who’s still alive is a iraq/Afghan bet that lives in Stockton California that none of us speak to
