Wu-Tang thread.. again..

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5b4UcYJ0oEM

lol, look at raekwons grill... mad fucked up

But semi recently, I could post vidoes but I won't... like uhh Ebro and Rosenburg jew dude.. well RZA was on there and basically it looks like what it comes down to is all of the WU wanted to come together, but ..

But but.. in order to do that fully there has to be money deals made and their are egos involved. Like U-God and Masta Killa are part of the Wu Tang clan, but if they were missing... wouldn't be like if Meth or GZA was missing.

But still they all have egos and how do you dole that shit out money wise. RZA said he'd do all the beats and even rap... Raekwon came in and was like yo no my name shit head gonna do a beat. Well here it is actually. And this is old and why Wu Tang will never make another album.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oMBoO6R7I3o

thats them talking as of january... but still its never going to happen

anyway if any of you care about wu tang let me knw what you think

Ouch 03-13-2021 04:16 AM

Funny thing is, til this day I had some sort of idea in my mind that all the Wu Tang members were like... close friends growing up... now ODB was in fact RZA's cousin... but when I was growing up I thought like... they all went to the same high school, hung out and just

'made a sick tight click and went all out'.. but in reality RZA knew a lot about the business at an early age and basically cultivated the shit.. my childhood dreams aren't true fuck santa clause isn't real damn

Best verse on any wu tang album ever was from an LA head.

That is disrespect to the thone, you my friend are a heretic.

But yeah thats a dope verse.

And to @Pakistani Hand Cannon --- fuck you... i'm not always fucked up like that... but

IMO...

Most talented out of Wu... RZA
Favorite wu member ... ODB
Best over all rapper... Ghost... Meth is close second, GZA is dope but to me his style is boring.
Most under rated... Masta Killa

Pakistani Hand Cannon 03-23-2021 04:51 PM

switch odb with ghost & i agree with all that tbh

word

though brooklyn zoo is one of my fav shits from any wu member, period.

he would be your fav though lmao

Destroyer 03-23-2021 11:09 PM

gza is the best, followed by raekwon, then meth, then ghost
i could take or leave all of the others

Bomb Bard 03-24-2021 08:18 AM

What about Corleone

Ouch 03-28-2021 06:59 AM

I just.. watched and it’s still on... Ghost does his like.. random songs perfect. Fat ass reakwon is drunk and not doing it.... ghost is on top of his game... man but I feel for Raekwon because I’m like that drunk and whatever.

But a also ghost the go’s... I’ll watch the rest but he just stepped off like yo homie you’re making a fool of yourself and I love you but I don’t want to be a part of it

Ouch 03-28-2021 07:00 AM

I’m bout to watch the rest of it

and ghost of course other than what they did together I don’t think I listened to a Raekwon album period ever

El Muffin 04-17-2021 10:58 AM

Love me some inpsectah deck tbh

His verse on triumph is one of the first verses I learned by heart

N I fw Czarface projects so he’s a personal favorite

Didn’t like GZA much . Found him overwhelmingly boring as well

Check out “ lumber Jack match “ by czarface

kungfugrip 05-04-2021 12:10 AM

Raekwon is the most talented member, Incarcerated Scarfaces is the best Wu Affiliate track, Meth was the most marketable and Only Built For Cuban Links was the best Wu album

Next question

Ouch 05-04-2021 12:24 AM

Meth was the most marketable I agree with that... don’t agree with the rest... quit asking for the next question like you have an answer it’s all opinion.

kungfugrip 05-04-2021 12:30 AM

Do you even have an opinion? My opinion is correct. If u disagree u better have some counterpoints.

Ouch 05-04-2021 12:43 AM

Most talented overall RZA.. best side project by wu tang members only built 4 cuban linx... best wu album of course the original 36 chambers...

First 3 cds I ever got my parents to buy me as a kid 36 chambers, it’s dark hell is hot and oasis.

Had good taste even as a kid.

Ouch 05-04-2021 12:47 AM

And yeah you can hardly understand RZA on some of his tracks with his weird ass lisp and whatever... but he brings hard energy almost every time. Business wise he brought wu tang to what it was... and now he does scores for huge movies and shit.

RZA IMO overall most talented, didn’t say he was my favorite wu rapper.

Ouch 05-04-2021 12:51 AM

Ghost bustin ass bill murray... listen bill muwway don’t you know smokin with ciggawettes lead to all type of bad shit....... now you tell me

kungfugrip 05-04-2021 03:56 AM

36 chambers wasn't a good album. People will say it is but it isn't. What's your favourite track off 36 Chambers OR Liquid Swords without google? Exactly. It was an introduction to Wu Tang and that's it. It was never a good album.

Destroyer 05-04-2021 03:58 AM

it’s 7th Chamber, loser

kungfugrip 05-04-2021 03:58 AM

36 chambers was as good an album as Paid In Full was a good album. You don't know any tracks off it much less GOOD tracks off it. And i was there. Be yourself man.

Recite 2 verses from Chessboxin or begone

Ouch 05-04-2021 07:47 AM

Cream from 36 chambers and with rap more so than even some other genres of music it’s more about the time period it was done in and now they did it. The innovation part of it... who was the drum player that decided to bring out all those drums and the tins and whatever... we don’t know... but it was innovative.

I feel like wu tang on this album did something, hip hop wise quite different than others were doing at the time so not sure how you can say 36 chambers sucks.

And as far as naming the exact names of songs, my top 100 songs I know and love as a music fan I could only come up with the exact title of half of them and you’re no different so shit the fuck up.

Pakistani Hand Cannon 05-09-2021 01:39 AM

can someone link me to a handful of solo rae joints that are classic??

seeing as yall sayin he's the most talented

rae's nice, but most talented? maybe im missin somethin

El Muffin 05-09-2021 06:37 AM

Idk .. the pretty toney album is up there for me personally

But I will not deny that only built for Cuban Linx was borderline gospel for niggas when I was coming up . Undisputed best solo project & im sure there’s a reason for that

Never really got into it as a jit .. preferred other members albums as I got older but I see the appeal

Swordsman was my shit bruh n forever will be

Underwhelming album aside from 2-3 tracks

Liquid swords / swordsman and

Fuck . Maybe cold world?

Pakistani Hand Cannon 05-18-2021 03:41 AM

cuban links plays more like a rae/ghost album

kungfugrip 05-18-2021 10:27 PM

It's a Top5 rap album, much less a Top 5 Wu album

Exactly. Wildly underwhelming album

kungfugrip 05-18-2021 10:37 PM

People talk about that album the way they talk about Illmatic. Illmatic was a great album, but aside from NY State of Mind it was more of an introduction to Nas. Reasonable Doubt was a better album and belongs on mlre Top 5s than Illmatic

This is a fact but people will call you an idiot.

Reasonable Doubt is perfect.

kungfugrip 05-18-2021 11:55 PM

Illmatic is an overrated album

Reasonable Doubt is probably the best rap album ever recorded

kungfugrip 05-18-2021 11:59 PM

And also, Jay-Z is corny now. That verse on that new Nas track is fucking corny

The other B and now the other other B

Corny.

Jay stayed relevant by latching on to artists that were groundbreaking. He just the one with the most longevity because he was so slightly above bar for sonlong.

Ghost1 05-19-2021 12:02 AM

The purple tape is second to supreme clientele and it's because ghostface is the best wu member....without ghost on the purple tape it would've been mediocre
