McGregor needs to retire

He’s washed.

Adverse 01-24-2021 09:01 PM

Dude’s taking the Rousey road it seems, won’t take a graceful bow and call it quits, gonna have to be forced out

Maybe WWE will throw him a contract

Eviction 01-24-2021 09:04 PM

when rousey lose that's when she joined the wwe.

Hasn’t been the same since losing to Mayweather.

Ouch 01-26-2021 01:35 AM

Yeah, honestly I don't see him being a major factor in MMA ever again. And its not like he needs money, he's set, his kids are set, his kids kids are set if they play it right.

You've had a good career nothing more to prove. But I was an athlete on a semi high level, so I have that spirit... and you don't want to hang it up. Jordan shouldn't have came back with the 45 Jersey either but... you get bored and if people will let you do it, let alone pay you millions of dollars to do it, fuck it.

But yeah I don't think he's got it in him to be any major factor. They say Nick Diaz is going to come back, lets see Nick Diaz Vs. McGregor for shits and giggles.

Fairweather af

He lost to a top 3 fighter in the world. The leg kicks surprised him and he got caught

He still looked good in the exchanges... Only thing diff is he seemed to ditch his kicking style and go straight boxing

Hes still very dangerous and can win some good fights

Amen 01-26-2021 06:17 PM

He’s washed up.

He hasn’t been the same since his fight with Money Mayweather. All that money ruined him.

Fracture 01-26-2021 06:21 PM

He went 4 rounds with khabib and even won a round... Meanwhile gaethje and poirier lost to him inside 3 rounds

He smoked cerrone in 48 seconds. Just because he got caught by a top3 fighter doesnt make him washed up.

He didn’t get washed either Dustin worked that leg and he tried to be too comfortable and got caught. That happens to elite fighters all the time

Fuck these idiots frac

Yeah, people are acting like he got dominated. You could argue he was winning the fight in the first round. He just got leg kicked to oblivion and caught a clean one by a fighter who wasn't fucking around.

No shame in it at all.

Fracture 01-26-2021 08:03 PM

Exactly. Nobody wants to give credit to poirier

Wrong.

Happens to fighters who’ve exceeded their prime and approaching the downward slope of their career.

Wrong... you don’t know sports Trandrew

evaD 01-27-2021 03:49 AM

He’s probably past his peak but he doesn’t have to retire. Why do people feel the need to make ridiculous statements like this based off one fight.

“He lost it after fighting mayweather”

His next fight after mayweather was one of the most one sided victories I’ve seen in a while

Fracture 01-27-2021 11:25 AM

Lmao^

There's times its obvious an athlete needs to hang it up and theres times he just took an L

Liddell comes to mind on someone who needed to hang it up well before he did. Shogun looks like he needs to go ahead and retire. Theyre flat, easily rocked, slow in the exchanges, and losing to mediocre competition

McGregor losing to the best fighter in the division not named khabib is an acceptable loss. It happens regardless of how close to your prime you are

Amen 01-27-2021 12:02 PM

He’s on the down slope of his career.

Money ruined him. He doesn’t have that drive or hunger. You can tell in his shit talking. Seems way more passive these days.

Fracture 01-27-2021 12:40 PM

I attribute his recent persona as a sign of maturity and being a father

Amen 01-27-2021 02:06 PM

I don’t agree.

Blue Bayou 01-27-2021 05:58 PM

Barcotic 01-27-2021 06:42 PM

Mac is not washed
Overrated the whole time, maybe
But washed up? No

Stupid way to put it really. A boxing fan's wet dream tho for sure

What?

Con a terrible boxer. Why would that be a boxing fans wet dream? As if he poses any kind of threat to any boxer? Jake Paul would whoop his ass.

Witty 01-28-2021 05:30 AM

Amen gonna Amen.

Fracture 01-28-2021 09:11 AM

Jake Paul is flat footed and telegraphs literally every single punch. You just told on yourself that you have no idea what youre looking at

Amen 01-28-2021 09:26 AM

He’d Nate Robinson Con, tho.

That’s my point.

You were probably one of the dreamers; “Oh it only takes one punch and Conner left hand is so accurate, he’s going to KO Mayweather.”

Eh? Was that you?

Amen 01-28-2021 09:50 AM

Hungry Conor vs Family man Loser Conor.

He just doesn’t seem like he loves the sport anymore and does it for the money only, now. It’s ok, tho. It happens often. After huge payouts - most athletes seem to fall off.

evaD 01-28-2021 10:25 AM

His outside the ring persona has no bearing on whether he needs to retire

Fracture 01-28-2021 11:23 AM

No. Not one percent of me thought mcgregor had a chance out boxing mayweather. But he went 10 rounds with arguably the greatest boxer of all time

Jake Paul beat a YouTube guy and a basketball player with 0 fights who wasnt even near the same weight class

UPN Zuch 01-28-2021 11:32 AM

It’s very possible that Jake Paul could die in that ring. I’m not exaggerating.

Because Mayweather ALLOWED it to go 10 rounds.

Diode 01-28-2021 01:42 PM
