Em hasn’t made a listenable album in years.

Em has uplifted a lotta black rappers though. Should give me credibility for that. Wouldnt flat out hate him as a person. But yeah his music sucks.

This man’s name is “White Earl”. Eminem could put out an album of rain patter and he would lose his mind over it.

Haven't peeped it yet but I'm looking forward to get around to it. This weekend while I grinding, I plan to start the album and see.

Because Em is trash

I felt that way after the recovery/revival/relapse or whatever those albums were. But kamikaze was bananas (not perfect but the he made it known that you cannot deny his skills)! And the music to be murdered by album was pretty decent. Now the side B that exist now is it not horrible but not his greatest has a couple of tracks that are worth your attention. I just listened to this whole album front to back. And now listening to it again. It is a Slow Burn that begins to pick up steam about 2/3 into the album.

It's actually quite good.

Dead poet has terrible taste.

This new album is dope. Think I liked the A side better but I’ve only listened to B a few times thus far.

A side is better imo. The opening is sooo raw.

Most of Em's shit present day is not replayable. The lyrics are still great, but he has absolutely no replay value anymore. The sound is just flat and boring asf.

Agreed for the most part but you’ve got to applaud him for being able to stay relevant, he’s adapted multiple times whether it be Relapse or Kamikaze this man just refuses to go away and always stays relevant that in itself deserves praise. The Eminem that first came out in the 90s is a whole different person than current Eminem, if he had kept his sound the same he would have fell into obscurity as so many others have tbh so I don’t hate him for changing his sound and I was thoroughly impressed by Music to be Murdered By. This is his first project I genuinely liked since Recovery. He took the whole sound of today’s mainstream hip hop and actually has dope lyrics to pair with it, it’s been impressive whether you’re a fan of it or not. Who else is still relevant from the era that Em came from?

All jokes aside. Dude is just terrible. At some point he went from having variation in his flow and the way he rode a beat to what he is now. Just annoying voiced where he thinks double time equals riding the beat. That shit on the BET cypher with Mos Def and Black thought was hilarious to me. He got exposed at how corny he is to me. Then he pops up on the griselda album and sticks out like a sore thumb. Dudes annoying whinny voice sounds like nails to a chalk board to me.

I could definitely understand this. There are plenty of MC's out there that many people love and I just can't get past their voice.
