The snow looked real everything in this trailor was pretty good.looking. Prolly grab me a xbox for the bedroom eventually.

Yeah it might run faster for the first 6 months, but you're going to have to service it after a while. Like every iteration of the XBox. The PS5 might be SLIGHTLY inferior specs wise, but its always the more reliable system. Made in China with shit parts, or made in Japan? Hmmmm...

On paper.. The xbox has a small edge when you put the stats next to each other. But they are so similar it wont be noticeable.. UNTIL you get to the ssd that ps5 has. And thats what makes the ps5 far superior.

i think there are ssd configurations that you can have for pc that match it, but its like 1000 dollars for the drive itself, and you need a top tier motherboard and cpu to go along with it

which is why it seems insane if the ps5 is like 500 bucks or something

yea i just googled specs, the xbox has a marginally better cpu and gpu. the ps4's ssd is more than twice as fast though.

so basically non existent loading times, and it can put more of its graphics on the screen faster. basically unlimited draw distances etc.

as someone who has gone full pc gamer and spent way to much money to have a top of the line cpu and gpu, the difference from what i have now (3950 and 2080ti) to what i had (4790k and 980ti) isn't that crazy honestly. i mean the only real difference is in resolution and framerates at the higher resolutions. the actual quality of the image to the human eye tho? when i was getting 100+frames at 1080 ultra it was pretty dope and i only noticed the difference when i got the 4k monitor. now i get 100+frames at 4k ultra

but word in this long useless post, im basically saying the pc i built thats like 4000 dollars isn't going to be discernably better than either of these consoles.

which is fucking insane lmao. this console generation is basically banging out with pc's at the moment. granted when the 3080's drop it'll shoot past the consoles again. but at this point, by how much really?
