when we make our beats we all pm them to me or sharp, whoever decides to run it so i guess it'll be me this time since i made the thread

every beat is then uploaded anonymously to youtube by me or sharp and everyone votes for which one they like the most

They don't. But the thing is it keep us honest. If we just say no samples I have a hard drive full of shit I could just post. When we do these I try and hide the sample and add as much other sounds on top in general

I also warned them had they did, I wouldn't be participating in any leagues or tournaments on NC.. The chorus starts at around 37 seconds. The "where you are" part is what i want. I wanna try one of those speed the sample up, filter the shit out of it and build a trap beat around it.

If you want relatively obscure material, vinyl frontier has TONS of ridiculous stuff to sample from. Really obscure foreign stuff, soundtracks, etc.

This track works. When’s the deadline, and what are the rules? Can we add other melodic elements, or just use the base sample. And I assume we can add drums, bass and scratches/vocal snippets.
