NFL DRAFT

aj brown is the best receiver

bookmark this for a few years from now when he's up there with d hop, antonio brown etc.

since the ravens dont have a second i wouldn't put it past them trading out of the first for 2 seconds.

oh well

who you hoping your team grabs?

The Dead Poet 04-25-2019 06:38 PM

AJ Brown might be the best WR. Personally I like N'Keal Harry more.

uh-oh 04-25-2019 07:40 PM

word you got that conference bias THO lol

but nah any of the top names being thrown about i'd be happy with the ravens grabbing to be honest, but i'd also be disappointed for them cuz they'd be looking at maybe 3 targets a game.

im sure the ravens will go pass rusher or o-line tho and piss me off. although the o-line does need shored up as well as the pass rushers but word who knows

Great point... Lamar goin 12/20 every game next year while running for 115

uh-oh 04-25-2019 08:15 PM

for sure, even when he passes he heavily favors the TE's and rb's. if he takes big strides this offseason and is capable of throwing 30 times a game its still gonna be like maybe 10 targets to WR's. split between 3 guys, with the lions share going to te's and RB's on the roster

its why all the free agents were like nahh im good.

im pretty sure the ravens top wr's right now are willie snead, and chris moore lol. basically a starting slot receiver, and a backup slot receiver

John Dillinger 04-25-2019 08:30 PM

Lamar Jackson is the poor mans Josh Allen

Here is to hoping im wrong and marquise brown is the best wr. I just dont see it. But i dont see alot.

Either way its the first wr off the board and consensus best yadda yadda so im hype. Im just honestly surprised people didnt make a run on wrs. Alot of dope guys

DMS 04-26-2019 04:29 PM

Those Giants are stupid motherfuckers for taking Daniel Jones over Dwayne Haskins

I’m pretty sure the pats got a WR, but not Metcalf, which idk how that will work out. Packers traded the 30th pick to the Hawks who traded it to the Falcons apparently. Josh Rosen is going to LAC or New England probably, which explains why NE didn’t take Will Grier maybe. Idk how that WR will turn out but Bill sometimes finds diamonds in the rough

The Dead Poet 04-26-2019 08:07 PM

Blicheick about to take a long snapper and turn him into a hall of fame TE.

White LGI 04-26-2019 08:24 PM

Denver got the best QB in the draft in round 2

uh-oh 04-26-2019 09:08 PM

haskins>

also metcalf still available, harry to the pats makes me sick. harry>metcalf

bleak 04-26-2019 09:11 PM

BB is historically terrible at finding receivers in the first and second round, maybe he got this one right tho

DMS 04-26-2019 11:05 PM

I'm no prospect analyst, but I feel the pats don't need an RB, since I missed the second round idk what they got there, but seems James White, Rex Burkhead and Sony Michele would be enough

Who'd they get?

Should've known it was Drew Lock. yeah he was def the best on the board, most people had him over Daniel Jones.

Lions had a terrible draft and obv the Giants sheesh

Tell me about arm strength.

don't get me started.
Aaron Rodgers seems to have the longest off-balance or not leg-assisted throws. Why? because he's so good at getting his chest and spine into throws and really getting a hip-to-shoulder disparity. Meaning he's really good at putting his shoulder back and his opposite hip back, similar to Tom Brady, and rotating his spine like a beer cap.

Josh Allen seems inconsistent in that regard, and Patrick Mahomes is a fucking beastly arm. against the pats in the championship, he launched a 55 yard missile rolling to his left, without running towards his target and getting his feet into it. he was almost throwing against he motion, which is incredibly hard on your arm.

If I had to number my top 5 arms, it would be

1 Josh Allen

1.5 Patrick Mahomes

3 Aaron Rodgers

while i was lukewarm on hollywood

FERGUSON, and now boykin

starting to get a little hype. the boykin pickup makes me feel better about hollywood due to contrast in their game. ferguson gets me super hype tho. all the ravens "smaller" school picks as far as defense go turn into monsters. judon comes to mind of recent. even smaller school than louisiana tech but he just had the frame and production. ferguson put up 45 fucking sacks. im sure he'll rotate with the others who are on rookie contracts. but he could blossom with no old man suggs in the rotation

hype

Great offensive day 2 for the Eagles

Ravens got Biggie Marshall. I figured if he went to the right team he could ball out. He's a HUGE corner....that could play saftey or nickel. I think the ravens will be able to get the best out of him.

uh-oh 04-27-2019 08:09 PM

for sure, he's got alot of comp at the position tho. probably our deepest spot, but he can definitely develop and overtake carr as he ages and smith if he wants too much money next year

i like all the ravens picks, not sure about the guard they got though, im glad they grabbed a guard i just know nothing of the dude

White LGI 04-27-2019 10:28 PM

Iman Marshall was a huge disappointment at USC...dudescover skills suck...and his reaction time is pathetic. Noway he finishes his rookie contract before getting cut

He was a huge 5 star. So word his time at SC was a disappointment. But they used him his first 3 years in zone, he's built for man....which is what the NFL wants. His senior season he played both sides of the field in man....and did a great fucking job. Especially when you look at how shitty usc offense was and how much time the defense was on the field. The right coaching he's going to succeed.

Pharaohs Army 04-28-2019 03:13 AM

My friend is a Redskin fan. He's disappointed because he thinks Haskins will be a bust. He wanted Lock instead

Pharaohs Army 04-28-2019 03:14 AM

I think they made a good move to get Sweat though

Pharaohs Army 04-28-2019 03:17 AM

No question in my mind that Daniel Jones would be available to the Giants at 17. They didn't need to reach.

Pharaohs Army 04-28-2019 03:23 AM

As a 49er fan I wanted Josh Allen over Bosa for sure. Can't believe he fell to 7.

Hoping Deebo Samuel is a playmaking weapon. We don't have a great recent history drafting WRs. The Baylor wideout looks like a bust to me. 4th round punter he better be amazing to use a 4th rounder on him.

My dad (giants fan) said the giants should've picked him up over Haskins or Daniel. he seems to be more highly rated than I thought, tho most mocks had Nick over Allen
