Are we in the final era of text now?
 

We all know most of the active battlers at NC were the last of a dying breed.

It seems text has declined in quality over the past couple years anyways, which brings the question... is AOB the last stand in producing quality battles for the world of text?

Netcees is my site like a mug tho.. I'm not saying otherwise... it'll always be home... but AOB has the potential to host some real dope shit. Every time we turn around NC is down, or crippled... unreliable ect.

Where does text stand as a whole right now, & will AOB be a contributing factor in keeping it alive???

shit im willing to help and i think NC's will forever be NC's but i think text on its last legs honestly hence why i am trying to get into audio and beat making... but its aheavy process slowly but surely

When I first jumped into forums they were popping left and right.... Then everyone started getting older, having to work, or other things in life drove them away from the forums.... A very small amount actually are in the music business.....

I left for a year or two, came back....and saw that most forums were gone...including the Orig. Netcees site...

Text wont ever die however more people are getting into actual recording due to technological advancements making it easier to do for free, due to more commercialised battle raps eg don't flop, kotd and grindtime giving that opportunity and finally due places like youtube giving a stage you can actually get a following on.

However it wont ever die out completely, but with everyone slating the old methods for being overplayed and then slating the new methods it does put new heads off quite quickly or they just change into the same boring routine that will get the feed, usually a slant on a played method

That's my thoughts...

if people keep pink slipping and trolling new names away, then it wont be the end of text but it will be the end of this site lol

yeah text is dying atm it'll revamp with new people though, always does

some ppl will stick around but a lot of heads are gonna just be new guys who will make threads mentioning people in this thread in threads about ppl of txt past
