You must have battled at least once to qualify.

(Record difference) + (wins/2) + credit for contender/champ match wins

For a contender win, add .5
For a league champ, add 1

Top 4 seeds are our playoff contenders.

In the event of a tie, bleak will kill himself.

The nature of this league is that it is short. This should lead to a top 4 that isn’t just the usual suspects. The goal was to create an ‘any given sunday’ type of league for the sake of keeping things fresh, exciting, and most importantly, not drawn out. 16 weeks would see everyone regress to the record that reflects how they stand in this league, predictably. This format means the best have the best chance, but anyone could go on a tear and sneak into the playoffs. Good luck.

Top 8 is closer to a tourney which drags on too long. The problems of not including people are outweighed by the benefit of the fluidity of our playoffs and this is done in tandem with a BA PPV to give seeds 5-8 a chance to shine
