You can literally edit your verse as much as possible before dropping anyway. It's just the information you give up when you drop first

1st person can edit until the 2nd person drops, dummy. Once the 2nd person drops, 1st person that dropped can no longer edit.

That's always been the rule of thumb/common knowledge in the text world.

Oddly enough I agree with @Useless on that. Both participants should be allowed to tweak their verses until the first vote is placed but it’s really nbd since everyone drops last min either way

If confirmed with the other person I've never had an issue editing my verse slightly before first vote an vice versa. But then I'm not a dick. I don't presume I should be allowed though as the rules are rules an anyone who's battled should know them by nowTbh.
