That line ironically is from the original mmlp ... and even more ironically em is now 40 and dropping a second mmlp

Here's the facts I know dre and em are returning as executive producers but they added a third .. a man named rick rubin who has had a heavy influence on music in general joins the cast as a 3rd executive producer ... those who dont know rick is the mastermind behind the beasties early success and even had a very heavy influence on jays black album but he's a Jack of all music trades

No I.d the man who taught kanye will also take the helm on a few tracks

Survival and berzerk are the only two confirmed tracks

Berzeck has a heavy beasties influence

The make up for the album sounds amazing ..

50 said he's featured on a potential single and royce said some of the things he hears em say gave him nightmares

I'm puzzled as to what direction this album will take but can't wait till nov 5th

Malachi 08-28-2013 06:55 PM

Royce is cool with em tho

he could be just sayin that

Strikta 08-28-2013 07:03 PM

Nah, Em might be making a real comeback this time.

You would be surprised ... some dudes could rub shouldn't with him and not even realise it

Plus some of these youngins just dont care about history

But yeah as was typing I was like this should be common knowledge

@PancakeBrah this thread is laced with all known facts about said album but somehow an exact duplicate thread popped up anyway you could erase that one? Pretty please

dull boy 08-28-2013 07:47 PM

Royce would say anything to hype the album. Sounds like some, 'I'm going to try and be funny/clever while promoting the album' type shit. Em's affection for Snoop Dogg and 50 Cent worry me. Eyedea's E&A is a 'Hip Hop' album eons beyond anything Em will ever produce. Em's greatest talent is having a pulse of the industry and sinking his teeth into it. Problem is, he's BEEN the industry since MMLP. What I'd love for him to have done is forsake everyone and clown the circus that has become of the entertainment world in the last decade. He doesn't have to be a clown. MMLP was dope because the jokes were based in serious satire and criticisms of pop culture. Since then he's become a parody of himself. He has endless skill as far as rhyming and rapping go. His production is ridiculous, but MMLP was about him. SSLP was about being a clown, and himself. Eminem Show = him. He seems incapable, or unwilling to touch upon anything besides Hip Hop or himself. Most rappers touch on issues and what not.

Can't wait to hear what this sounds like.

Wise Wiggles 08-28-2013 07:48 PM

so skip to your lou while I do what I do best, you ain't even impressed no more, you're used to
it, flows too wet, nobody close to it, nobody says it, but still everybody knows the shit, the
most hated on out of all those who say they get hated on in eighty songs and exaggerate it all
so much, they make it all up, there's no such thing, like a female with good looks, who cooks
and cleans, it just means so much more to so much more people when you're rappin' and you know
what for, the show must go on, so i'd like to welcome y'all to Marshall and Andre's carnival,

Frank Metts 08-28-2013 08:18 PM

He helped launch a whole hip hop movement and I think this album will have that feel

uh-oh 08-28-2013 08:47 PM

it wont

rick couldnt help a floundering jay. i only still bump 1 song from holy grail

if there is 1 song on the eminem album i can listen to for more than a month (lets be real tho nothings gonna make it past a minute. eminem songs come on and everything in my body rejects the faggotry) but word if theres even one song i like i'll be amazed

the shits gonna be doo doo

Frank Metts 08-28-2013 08:56 PM

@uhoh rick rubin had nothing to do with jays last album except appear in a commercial ... no production no executive producing nothing

i had to GOOGLE THO to make sure, i coulda swore he executive produced it

but yea either way, all the songs on this album are gonna have eminem on it.

and there isnt really a cure for that.

Destroyer 08-28-2013 09:19 PM

Yeah it's probably a safe bet that if you never liked anything Eminem ever did your probably not
gonna like this record either

Frank Metts 08-28-2013 09:27 PM

People have different tastes ... @uh-oh can zone out to dipset when I'm still pissed they used starships we built this city as a sample and ruined it ... I grew up on starship .. that's like gucci mane ruining a lynard skynard song in my eyes

None of this is ironic.

Actually yes it is ..

Irony is a pretence of ignorance by def if you want to be technical

And since neither ended up being true ... Hailey has no kids and em is still rapping at 40 both are ironic

And pretence means trying to make something appear true that isn't in case you werenr aware

Thus making both these things the epidemy of irony

The youngest boss. 08-28-2013 10:03 PM

Isn't his daughter like 16? lol

Frank Metts 08-28-2013 10:10 PM

She'll be 18 this year

Irony is "the expression of one's meaning by using language that normally signifies the opposite, typically for humorous or emphatic effect."

In this case, Eminem simply predicted incorrectly. He was not intentionally trying to be wrong for effect, and his being wrong was the happenstance of fate. He could not have known he would be wrong, at least not definitively, at the time.

Yes you can use Google and copy and paste thd firsr thing that pops up.. but even by your def its still holds weight dude ..

Your right in 2000 it wasn't ironic even though predicting your 17 year old daughter will have children and be out drinking has facetious written all over it ... but I'm sure em was raising her to be that way isn't that how we all raise our children? ... just stop you look stupid

In one sense he was being overly sarcastic at the time which has now turned to irony .. as far as rapping at 40 who knows how he meant it but it doesnt make it any less ironic now

ill nik-A 08-28-2013 10:38 PM

Eminem>ur opinions

Frank Metts 08-28-2013 10:39 PM

Somes times irony comes to light when the facts are actually presented.... end of story

dull boy 08-29-2013 01:16 AM

Eminem is probably the worst dad a girl you're dating could ever have.

Wise Wiggles 08-29-2013 01:31 AM

He's definitely up there.

dull boy 08-29-2013 01:46 AM

I want to see Hailie Mathers and Frances Cobain scissoring. Hailie in a flannel, and Frances in a wife beater.

Are you willing to wait about four months, or is it worth going to jail?

dull boy 08-29-2013 01:57 AM

My ability to wait makes no difference on whether or not I'd spend time in jail in order to see such a thing. It would involve kidnapping, rape and probably a slew of other charges I don't feel like looking up.

But yes, I think if I had the opportunity and it was jail time or not see this, I would be okay with a few years in prison.

Not really.

But maybe.

DLB 08-29-2013 02:16 AM

album sounds like it's gonna be better than his previous three... but that's just not cutting it

You are basing that off one definition of irony.

There is comic irony, situational irony, etc.
