I am very curious as to this. What is the axioms or truths that you live your life by?

I will give an example. I have many, but one I will lead with is "remember the future". This means that everything I do, I always try to think about the future of that decision before I do it. Easier said than done, but has been instrumental in my growth.

its pretty simple. we've all lived enough of life to understand most PURSUITS. so build your life around what you enjoy, not what you are supposed to enjoy.

for example

you have a set of scales

on one side is doing difficult things and succeeding. on the other side is doing nothing. the scales seem even? then do nothing. because if succeeding at something difficult only brings the same amount of joy you experience while doing nothing, when you were in the difficult moments you are operating at a net loss without realizing it.

basically is the juice worth the squeeze?

To me, Joy is happiness. Which is why I stated, you should never live in the pursuit of happiness. There is no path.

Living in the moment and being happy or joyful is it's own path you must create.
