Positivity Thread

Not to dear diary you guys but I been in a good place recently and wanted to share some good vibes with y’all

Stop by the thread and say something your happy about or thankful for

I been going to amusement parks every weekend and I’m pretty stoked tomorrow is Friday

Can’t wait to get out the city

Feel like my health and mental strength is at a all time high

Trying to spread love indiscriminately

So yea

How are you feeling today ?

Blue Bayou 08-16-2018 09:36 AM

Cool idea

On my end life is great, I've had a very solid Q2 / Q3 with work that has been rewarding

Getting married next month so that's going to be a fun time & I have 3 vacations (one being the honeymoon) lined up for 2019 so looking forward to that

Lots of good things on the go that keep me smiling now that I won't get to live out my SC dream

Geno 08-16-2018 09:41 AM

Off this weekend. Somehow i slid past without being forced to work even though a ton of people are on vacay. Happy about that. And life is just good these days. Peace ncgs

~RustyGunZ~ 08-16-2018 09:51 AM

Great as usual but nothing too new

Gonna go to the science center with the dude in a bit

Destroyer 08-16-2018 10:03 AM

Well you guys know about the kid announcement
That’s pretty swell
My work got bought out by a better, more organized company and that resulted in a raise and more support for an overall better work experience and guaranteed insurance which I now have and didn’t for 90 days while knowing the wife was pregnant again, so... that’s quite a load off

dead man 08-16-2018 10:07 AM

without getting into too much detail - will shortly be starting a new phase of my professional life, which will require some additional post-grad coursework, but i am extremely excited for that as well and more than willing to take on the additional workload.

the feeling of working TOWARDS something is absolutely invaluable and if you are feeling empty or letting the darkness creep, it's likely because you're not challenging yourself to overcome some mountain in the distance... whatever that means to you... is what i am learning slowly

Just got this guy to take me in as a intern for a professional recording studio. Excited and looking forward to that. I just cashed in on a cd my parents started for me when I was 9. Paid up all my bills for 3 months and now I got about 5 grand left, half of that is going towards getting back into college. Not sure for what still have to get thru my gen-ed classes.

Witty 08-16-2018 12:06 PM

My family is good, all healthy and thriving, I'm doing ok in regards to money and being able to afford stuff, and getting better little by little. My girls Aunt had an operation a week ago to remove her womb as she had cancer in it, and it was successful, got the news yesterday that she is now cancer free. All in all life is good...there are struggles, but it's par for the course...nothing major.

uh-oh 08-16-2018 12:12 PM

Now you can drop loads in her aunt too i see you witty

My life has been more of the same. Unadulterated excellence and success in all my endeavours

My knee only slips back into excuciating pain 10 percent of the time now instead of 90 so my caveman instinct of avoiding surgery has paid off. Fuck a torn meniscus wtf is a meniscus anyway suck my dick medical field

Inno 08-16-2018 12:25 PM

God has graced me with another day of life and opportunity to feed my family. I’m good

Elemental P 08-16-2018 12:46 PM

ACL? MCL? You crazy haha

BodySnatcher 08-16-2018 01:32 PM

Working the Jay-Z and Beyonce concert tonight. Moving into a new house soon. Upgraded all around the board this year. @Sharp you in the city tonight? Good thread idea Hush, repped.

bleak 08-16-2018 01:45 PM

Well school starting back, so work picks up inherently. Got rid of a nuisance in the garage, which makes everyone's job easier. Boss retires at the end of the year, and they are giving me his job, so that's something big to look forward to down the road.

As far as home life, cuffing season is working backwards this year apparently. This petite little thing at the pizza place I frequent been talking to me about breaking up w/ her bf, I'm sliding asap. As well as a particular ex who is whoring around til she feels young again.
Roommate found a girlfriend, unsure how to feel about it. She's around too much but I'm glad he found SOMEONE the guy is an awkward human.
Weed been crazy lately, homie came from Rado with a few new strains/dabs. Just need him to keep going. And I usually don't like the THC cartridges but he has a white rhino one that is really good.

Amen 08-16-2018 01:48 PM

Life is amazing.

Is it me or is digging pizzeria chicks the new trending thing?

Ghost1 08-16-2018 01:51 PM

I actually had to postpone the trip til the second weekend of September

veritas 08-16-2018 03:22 PM

Lets see:

I am currently lean AF. 181 lbs. Feel amazing. That's body.
I am trying to break into the online Professor teaching hustle. That's world.
I Just preached a message last night by asking people to choose numbers at random and used that as the message. That's spirit.
I am reading Maps of Meaning, and playing Chess, and the Jitsu. That's Mind.

All in all, goodness here on my end. Good thread. Stay up.

the medial meniscus. not a ligament thing, it doesn't give out or anything, just get pain when it slips. its basically a layer of tissue on either side of the knee that cushions the interaction of the femur and shinbones. when its torn, it can slide out of place and you get pain from the pressure on the joint. mine still slips, but im able to kind of catch it. certain movements and shit i can feel put pressure on it. like trying to push something with my foot from side to side. like there is a rock i use to prop open a door at work, and if i don't remember and try and like push it over with my foot, scooting it with the inside of my foot i get a jolt like oh shit almost forgot.

but 90 percent of the time its back to normal again. its been steadily better though, its just been 8 weeks now so its slow going as fuck for healing. if it was still bad after 4 weeks i was supposed to go back get the mri and surgery to fix it, but even though it was still pretty bad i thought ehh fuck it. its going in the right direction lol

Clout 08-16-2018 04:05 PM

Uhh schools starting soon, almost done with Japanese classes/sessions! It will be my 5th language. Im still working on nailing better pronunciation/spelling with my American - English.

I have plans to go to Japan in a couple of months. Maybe January, i'd like to immerse myself with their culture and try to find my way around utilizing their native tongue only. Its a challenge i try to do with every new language i've studied. Its always a fun adventure haha.

Glad alot of you are doing swell, much love from NC's Frost giant

I've been with Sprint for 4-5 years paying around $150 for two lines. After attempting to get my account number to switch carriers, I'm now paying $80 and got a free Hulu account. So that's positive!

Chyeahhh!!! 08-16-2018 04:29 PM

I'm alive. My family and I are healthy and flourishing. Life is good
