I know there's some rough cuts but the levels are almost evened out for it being put together like Frankenstein. I need to listen to it in the car to know how I really feel about it but I dont hate it which is good news to me

I respect it if you're not just saying that. If you truly want to make music for you then that's not a bad thing. The problem is that it's shit music. The beat was awful and you took over a minute to start rapping. 4 bar intro man, that's all you need.

Nah man I like the beat if anything poor cuts might affect the smoothness of it.

I listen to it on my drive to work and normally take notes at lunch on where to move things, cut and add things but this is the most up to date version I'm getting more comfortable with how it sounds but it might get 10 more updates by the end of the week. I have the raw file still I'm always messing with it.

Tbh, I like the beat. Can't really speak on lyrics cause I can't listen to it if I try. Sounds like you're generally on beat but with the same rhythm figure, which I think meshes with the vaporwave style really well. The fastests phrases were def slurred though. Might not hurt to use a visual metronome when you record

I think it would fit better if you put some effects on the voice to make the tone fit with the beat, cause the difference in quality is so distinct it sounds like you recorded by playing the beat through speakers, put the speakers next to a mic, then rapped into it. Nothing to hide your voice, but it could even be cool with a little bit of lo fi shit to really get that vaporwave feel

Yeah man thanks I still got some of your beats on reserve. Its not radio ready by any means but I'm getting better at understanding what does what with the recording program which Is what I'm most proud about. If you ever want to rap on a track let me know we could both figure this stuff out

Just rap over a damn hiphop beat man. Stay away from vocal effects. Just find ur mix. As basic as u can make it. Preset the settings. And use the same shit everytime. Thats what i started doing once i found my sound.

Pros - I think you sound confident on the mic, presence isn't too bad at all...

Cons - Mix was bad, lost your flow A LOT throughout.

Not my typical style in music but cool that your making it man. Keep doing it, just not like this lol. This mix was legit terrible. I thought it was my computer lagging at the office, but it wasn't - it was the background noise or w/e and the choppy flow.

Sorry...honestly didn't read anythin' left prior to this, it sounds really static...like I've said numerous times I'm no audio head...but yeah, this wasn't my thing...you have a good voice though, unfortunately shit got drowned out.
