LMAO REAL SHIT, I LOST MY JOB BECAUSE OF MY YOUTUBE CHANNEL REVIEWS ABOUT WOMEN BEING SEXUALLY ASSAULTED AND MURDERED ETC
so I got sacked for gross misconduct after 16 years on a Monday
in fairness, the movies prob were a bit gross for the general public so they at least got that part right they rang me the day after I was fired to ask me if I wanted to resign as it would look better on me to future employers, having “resigned” rather than “dismissed” I agreed and handed my resignation in on the Wednesday the big homie @MMLP found me some casual work at his place to help me cover my bills and shit from the following Monday I started there Monday, on the Tuesday I got a call inviting me to an interview on the Wednesday morning at 11.30am this afternoon I get a call telling me I got the job BOOM so the tl;dr of this thread is basically: I promised you guys a Summer Classic to remember if I got the job. I got it. Summer Classic 2018 is coming. LETS GET IT!!!!!!! |
shouts to the homie @Flow also for agreeing to have a read through my CV and bless me with his HR knowledge
I got a lot of love for my two NC brethren for real |
Lmfao
This is perfection |
Is your YouTube account connected to your previous job, somehow?
|
hyped for the Summer classic, grats on the new job.
Post the videos that got u fired. |
I was wearing my work tie in some of the reviews and I once shared a video from BMNF on Twitter, along with an article about my workplace that’s i retweeted on the same account
Very tedious link bro, but they frowned on it heavily due to the content of the movies I review |

I had to remove that shit with the quickness They still found like 47 of them I think they said Movies about vaginal rape with a Bowie knife, castrations, mutilations, animal cruelty etc I had no chance I got rid of everything I could but they had obviously already been on the channel prior to telling me I was suspended they clearly already felt they had enough of a case before I was informed someone snaked me and told my boss real shady shit they know I’ve a child too |
Is the new job in a similar field or a little step up?
That sucks man but not surprised lol the shit you review isn’t normal or healthy to watch |
@sraL
In all seriousness - not sure about the UK but here in the US Department of Labor has laws regarding internet at the work place and social media accounts and use. I know if the employer does not have you sign an acknowledgement regarding either - it can't be held against you. Maybe something worth looking in to? Unless you recall signing a document at the time of hire covering these specific things being prohibited? That truly sucks man. Good thing you are working again, tho. Wishing you all the best, dude. |
This is a sign
Sorry guys no more vids from me |

Oh you answered those questions in an edit after I quoted

They had already been on there Then to try and save my own skin I removed the channel and my Twitter pages thought maybe if I said I’d removed all that shit and wouldn’t do it again they might just give me a final warning or some shit more out of hope than anything but nah, their minds were made up lol |
Everything lines up with the lime
@sraL good shit you bounces back, and good luck |

But I think if you are not in uniform and it doesn't regard politics or religion - you should be good lol. |
I even removed my FB pic because it was of Baron Mynd’s Nasty Finds then I had Muff in my Messenger asking “why you got no pic?” LOL
|
The social media at work stuff only applies when you’re relating the content to your work. So as long as Zelph doesn’t talk about his job or being a cop and just wears his soccer shorts he’s fine. Sounds like they went over the line with baron and we’re mostly in shock and worried for his coworkers being eaten alive. In the US he could fight it and win.

I would get sent screeners if movies not released yet/rare shit/t shirts/autographs etc from directors and actors and fans so it was brilliant for me as I’m a huge horror fan So no real monetary gain but the gifts I got more than made up for that to me I do it because I love it |
They asked me in the interview if I had any other online aliases they weren’t aware of
I didn’t snitch about NC though don’t worry sraL is a no comment OG |
Word just seems like something that taking out of your life would be good for you
Heroin addicts really enjoy heroin ya know |
Thats fucked bro. I understand u being in a bad place now. Glad things are looking up though.
|
WTF?
So we compare drug addiction to hobby enthusiasts now? His affection for horror movies isn't the same as someones addiction to heroin. At least I don't think so from a logical perspective, or is it? If so, that's a problem and you're a weirdo lol. |
This is worrisome from a broader perspective. Nothing new, but any step toward a totalitarian government is a worrisome one.
Would definitely be nice to dump pigs blood on your former company’s next BBQ. |

I’m assuming he gets off on it, if not I’m not sure why he’s passionate about it. |

While I was suspended for 8-9 weeks on full pay i had no idea how it was gonna pan out. Well, I did kind of imagine how it may do and eventually did, but I wasn’t sure... I was feeling pretty shitty that I’d done that to my family and beat myself up about it. I was too hard on myself in retrospect. Now I’m ready for this new challenge. |
There’s no defending the shit Lars enjoys watching
but I’ll defend til I die his right to watch it |
I have. Some gross, some weird but its acting. They are movies. They are fake.
You are passionate about developing games and nerd shit, aren't you? What's the difference? I just think the analogy was way off. |
Ya i know what thats like. Not knowing is the worst feeling ever when it comes to serious life changing shit man. Just glad ur in good spirits and working. Thats rly good news.
|
He can watch it, but it’s not disputable that it’s negative for his mental Health and home life.

Hes not hurting himself or anyone else. The films are not illegal to view. At least not to my knowledge. So he should not have these consequences. Plain and simple

The passion is similar. Not the hobby, dummy. I know @sraL - I basically said that lol... Knuck making it seem like you have some what of mental health issue/drug addiction towards it tho lol... You put me on to a few horror flicks. I enjoy them as well, just no where near as much as you do lol... |
Are we going to pretend his work didn’t jump through hoops to fire him over this because it’s disturbing and not healthy? They wouldn’t have fired him if it was any normal media he was reviewing. They spent over a month doing whatever they could to get rid of him.
You guys are enablers and it’s disgusting. This isn’t a freedom conversation lmao. |
Low quality snuff films and so called torture porn I feel is more about one’s opinions on the world, but not necessarily the opinions the average joe would assume of someone with those tastes.
There’s something campy about that stuff. Community based. Counterculture. Violence depicted realistically has its worth. This is an injustice to what I believe in. Shameful shit. I’d do the same self doubting if I caused my family turmoil, but it’s just a passion. You aren’t hurting anyone. |

There is 0 examples of how continuing to be so involved with this niche hobby is beneficial to him and his life at all. |

I don’t get off on it. I make movies, I edit video, I enjoy seeing unusual camera angles used and prefer practical effects over CGI like Tom Savini would do. I enjoy the cinematography, the framing of shots, the score in movies like The Thing, I like grassroots DIY cinema because without these guerrilla directors we wouldn’t have the scene we have. I love everything about it. I’m more knowledgeable than your casual fan because I actually make movies and understand the behind the scenes stuff you don’t see and know how the effects were pulled off etc so i can speak about them and whether they’re done well or not. It’s way more to me than just what’s seen on screen within the movie, I can appreciate the technical brilliance that goes into it a lot more than your average horror fan looking for jump scares could. That’s what I love. |
